Now that the last of this year's collection is out, I came up with an idea for next year's. What about putting an item in each collection that can be used in the Genetech lab to make an item that fits the collection's topic?

I like this. First because I like the Genetech lab combos in general, and secondly because it would help with the achievement for making the combos. Also, why not make an item that can work two ways? As a TC and as a Genetech would be simple.

I really, really dislike this idea simply because it's going to be hella hard to come by if you miss it in the collection. iirc, this was the first year that all the previous collections for the year came back for the Black Friday sale. If they keep that up, it lessens that a little since it's just a matter of waiting, and maybe more people would buy spares just because it's used in a combination, but I feel really bad for people that join too late or miss out or whatever, and have to try and hunt down an item that's now twice as elusive because it's an item on its own as well as in a Genetech combo.

Cash Shop items aren't usually used in Genetech combos, I'd really like to keep it that way.
