Hey guys! So, if any of you have a significant number of pets, I'm sure you've noticed something if you went to the pet order page: it's pretty terrible. It allows you to do some things automatically, like alphabetical order and by pet ID, which is pretty great. But, all of the pets are in two columns, and if you're like me and have over 30 pets, it's really hard to be able to move the little guys around in a timely fashion.
So, I'm suggest one of two things (or, pick a third option, and combine them together):
For anyone who hasn't used the pet order page, here is a link to it, in case you want to fiddle with it yourself: pet order page.
To be honest what I'd really love for that page is for when you sort your pets once and save it, and then save that listing as your custom listing-- for the page to actually remember that instead of sticking newly adopted pets anywhere it feels like it.
So then you'd only have to sort them once, save it then save that as your custom order. Then whenever you get a new pet, and you hit "Custom" and that newest pet addition would automatically go to the end of the list for you to put it where you want it to go and then rinse and repeat. Sometimes the pet stays at the top of the list, sometimes it goes in the middle, and I don't think I've ever seen it go to the bottom, ever. Which is great when you adopt something from the pound while you're on your phone, and all your battle pets are at the top of the page and the pet order seems to feel like this new fella needs to go at the top so you can go ahead and accidentally train it a few times until you get home from work because you can't reorder pets via touch screens.
It'd also be great if you could just have a "move pet up" option on that page, so there wouldn't be any problems regardless of how you browse the site.
I do support the ideas in the OP, too. especially smaller images.
Maybe we could just sort by headshots instead of our full pet images.
And yes, please put new pets at the bottom automatically with a custom order
I can see why this would be a huge pain to someone with a lot of pets. I support the idea of changing it to headshots and then
Could the headshots/smaller pets thing be optional maybe? I can definitely see how it might be needed for some users, but I only have ten pets, five of them are customs, and I like seeing the full images/not having to zoom in a bunch to see them.
