My friend recently told me she has a sneeze fetish. I'm usually pretty understanding and try to be open-minded, though this just seems really weird to me. . . I didn't even know it existed before she told me about it. I feel like I shouldn't be, though I sometimes feel self conscious if I sneeze around her. Mostly though, I would say that I am curious. What would you do? What do you think? Any other people with sneeze fetishes, or people in general, to enlighten me?

There's fetish's for everything. Could be the sound or the expression someone has when sneezing. Though, you can never be sure. If you thought that's weird...then you don't want to know mine lol
So you think she's exaggerating it? I think maybe it's more of the concept in general I find odd, or maybe that I just never heard of it? Typing in "fetish" to the internet really broadened the view of how common they are. Hm.

I'm...a little stunned that you were that bold! I'd be afraid of what would pop up on the internet if I did that search. o.o;
Okay Some of them were things like feet or hair while others involved puke or other things . . . It was an interesting virtual journey!

Makes me wonder if it's the way a certain sneeze sounds. I know some people who sound pretty dang adorable when sneezing. But I don't think you need to feel strange about sneezing, it's kind of like when someone says they're gay/lesbian/bi, ect. Doesn't mean they are attracted to you, just because they tell you.
Good point. Though she also made it sound like the fetish part of it was involuntary. It's also kind of funny that you mention that because she's also bi

I can understand it being a bit uncomfortable then, but you could try asking her what makes it a fetish for her? Depends on how comfortable you are talking about it. But she may be able to clear it up, without you asking her if your sneezes do something for her lol. I am honestly not surprised, I am as well. :)
I've never heard of a sneeze fetish, that's quite unique! xD If my friend came and told me this though, what would I do? Probably laugh at her and then do nothing...it's not affecting me so what do I care? Then again, I have a vein fetish and that could probably be seen as weird too and I have a fetish for the...skin that old people have flapping under their arms. Although I don't know if these are 'fetishes' and like someone said that word is thrown easily...like love...maybe I just really REALLY like them?
heh there is worse things your friend could be into imo. Like liking people shitting on her or something, thas a weird one xD
Different strokes though eh!
You would laugh at her? :o "there are worse things your friend could be into" Good point
I guess fetishes are much more common than I thought! From more . . . conversations, I would say that it definitely is a "fetish" . . .

Yes, I would laugh at her. Not in a mean way, but like.....'what? are you serious?! haha' kind of way...because it's funny and weird and I'd never heard of this before. Luckily I have friends with sense of humors so they wouldn't be offended if I laugh....like when my friend told me she likes having a bag on her head during sex I laughed at her...she laughed with me, everyone laughs at my grandma skin thing especially but...idk, I don't take things like this too seriously unless it's distressing them for some reason - although it shouldn't, everyone is different and they like different things it's really not a big deal ^_^
