So, there are a lot of supposed tokens or events the bring good luck out there. Some events include making a wish on a shooting star or a wishbone. Some tokens include clovers, magic eight balls, rabbit feet, etc.

Have you confirmed anything to work or not work? Do wishing wells always grant your wish? Do you find that walking under a ladder does/doesn't cause you bad luck?

One I've confirmed to not work: Making a wish at 11:11 am/pm. Does nothing.

One that I've had luck with: 4 leaf clovers. I've actually had quite a few clover wishes granted! The trick, I've discovered is NOT to pick them. You gotta leave them there and let them live.

11:11 I always make a wish and for some reason it gives me hope.

I wear mismatched socks when I ride my horse because for some odd reason my friends and I think it helps prevent falling off. (Don't ask. That one was a weird one but we do it anyway out of sheer superstition.)

I always make wishes on shooting stars as well.

I'm not sure if this is only in my country, but we have a saying that, if you finish all of your dinner (literally all plates empty) the weather will be good the following day. I was always told this as a child, and I still think of this every time I eat! I don't think it actually works, but I say it on a regularly basis, and we prevent food waste at my house! xD

By the way! I have never heard of the "make a wish at 11:11"! Very interesting.
