I'm so close to finishing college and getting my degree. But it seems like everything is against me in that regard.

My school tuition SKYROCKETED. I've been trying to get financial aid to help for quite some time and it's not working. My semester ends Dec. 4th. I need $6,500 by that date or I'm totally fucked.

I've exhausted every option. I don't know what I'm going to do. Seems like I took all of these classes for nothing at this point. Fuck my life.

Why are they refusing financial aid? Have you talked to someone about it yet? Peharps, find a job? Can you ask some people for a loan? Can you push your deadline for payment by explaining your situation?

I've been talking to the office since the beginning of the semester. It's all on the federal side and the loan that I'm trying to go through is entirely automated so there isn't anyone I can talk to physically... I have a job but if I want to make it to school I need to pay for my car and insurance - no one in my family has good enough credit to help me get a loan. We've tried...my birth father is trying to borrow from his retirement but we don't know if it will come in time for the 4th.

There's no physical way to push the deadline, if I want to be able to be graded for the classes that I took this semester then I need to have it paid..

I have a scholarship from the school, and one federal loan, but it isn't enough to cover everything.

to them our pay is too high to consider additional aid. I'm trying for the parent plus loan now, but it more than likely wont get to them in time. and even then I think I only have $4,000 left from that. no way I can come up with another $2,500

How about going to the aid office at your school and ask them for a delay?

It really is! I've been tempted to donate eggs even with how much you can get in money from that.. it's depressing to think about...

The school is the one that set the deadline for the payments, if it isn't in on the 4th it's physically impossible for them to grade me
