I want to create a new pet in honor of one that passed away, but the plain name isn't available. So I thought I'd try to create one using special characters, if I can make it look pretty. But I'm not sure what all is allowed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

Special characters are definitely not allowed anymore... Any pets with special characters in the name were created before the rule change...

I think you can use some symbols, like plus signs (which works like a space I believe), periods, underscores, and maybe hyphens, but I know some symbols have been blocked from use as well...
