The achievement tier went up for the "Burned" achievement this year (Be burned by the Red Rreign!) but how does one go about getting burned? Every time I've burned something he's given me he's only gone after my items instead. Do I just have to keep trying that method until he decides my inventory isn't his target anymore?

It's random whether he goes for you or an item but I usually scoot my r1-r99 items into my vault or a shop unpriced for a while until I'm done burning wreathed items as it seems to up the chances of him burning me, plus I don't lose anything.

You also need to be burning items with 'wreathed' in the name for a chance of getting burned. Also it's best to move all other inv items to store or vault, as Setsunaela said

Oh I do the same, but it seems like every time he's been going after my inventory, even if it's empty.

I have been, I guess I've just had some crummy luck!
