No denying here that bringing back old cs items is awesome and we all love it, but bringing back the Longwear Eye Pencils just one month after their retirement is just plain out mean. I had planned to wait to buy them all for the Makeup Pouch until Black Friday, but then they were announced to be retired in October. So I decided to buy them for full price, 250 csc a piece, which makes an awful lot in sum. And now they are back for Black Friday just like that? Just one month after they were retired and people bought them because of that... no, sorry, I feel a bit cheated right now. Bringing back 'select items from previous years' means something else to me than this. (Also tbh they retire afterwards anyway... then you could just have had them retire after Black Friday altogether, really.)

I bought them during last year's sale, but yeah that's kind of a shitty decision :x

Though I really can't use them at all either :L I did want a few back at the time but I pretty much ended up buying them all for lmao

I did the exact same thing myself...I'm not mad about it or anything, but I was really surprised to see them in there for the sale since about a month isn't really "the forseeable future".

Although I agree with that the creme eyeliner pot made it worth it, especially since the eyes (and other items in the makeup bag) are really lovely themselves. xD

Yeah, this seems kind of unfair. :/

On the plus side, we now have a better understanding of Subeta's units of time measurement! 'The foreseeable future' can apparently be as little as less than thirty days. Knowledge is power? :c

We all did it for the eyeliner pot lol but I'm gonna disagree, I am a bit mad, they pulled 875 csc out of my pocket which I could have spent on other things in this sale. For me, that's quite a lot.

No but really, this is a valid complaint. I don't know if there's any way to reimburse those people, but I know I have been thinking about getting things on the BF sale since... pretty much the last sale, haha, so I feel it isn't too much to ask staff to have a bit of pre-planning about the things they want to discount. (And to not mislead us when it comes to those choices.)

ALSO YES we all did it (mostly) for the liner. I love that liner aksjhdks omg I'd have bought that liner alone as a CW if it was a CW. xD

And while we're at it, I'll throw a random feedback: I generally dislike bonus items because they're only one per account and I could have bought another set of eyes to get another bag if I had the chance / didn't have to pester other people / all that :/

I honestly don't think I've made a single HA without it since I got it. I had the Nightmare skin for months, and even when I didn't cover it I used this eyeliner.

Perhaps it's the amount of time that I have been on Subeta, and the sheer number of times something similar to this has occurred has made me jaded about what staff says... but in this particular instance I don't think anything needs to be done to compensate users.

"The foreseeable future" is vague. It's not really staff's fault if someone assumes that "the foreseeable future" means "a minimum of ___ months" because they never stated a specific timeframe. People that purchased these a month ago were no more cheated than the people that bought the other items that are currently discounted for their original price.

I get what you mean, but I disagree personally. a) the items that are in the cs anyway and are discounted now were clearly to be in there for the sale and b) people were warned several weeks before the sale that the 10-day discount refund would not be given for the BF sale this year. I understand that buying something a month before a sale is normally no reason to be refunded, there's a reason for the 10-day rule that is usually working, but in this case if the pencils were supposed to be discounted in the sale, it's pure moneymaking to retire them a month beforehand so everyone would think they would be unattainable in the "foreseeable future", which, to be fair, has basically ever been more than just a few months, not even mentioning just one month. Oh well.

On a site where "never" just means "not this month," did you really expect "foreseeable future" to mean anything more than just the rest of the night? Admittedly, though, I never understood why retired items got discounted as well, or at least discounted a full 50% off. Hopefully with the inclusion of the collections once again, but at a non-discounted prices, we'll be able to have Black Friday bring back old items, but keep the price the same, to help those who didn't have a chance to buy them while also not making those others who bought the items initially feel any sort of regret.

I just wanna ask, is Rasputina the only one working on the tickets for this glitch right now? I'm sure there's tons of them since the cart glitched during the major sale. I had this happen to me and am missing countless items. It's been way over 24hrs since I've heard anything on my ticket and I would really really like my items I paid a lot of money for.

If she's the only one currently working on the tickets I can whole heartily agree that she is doing a shit ton of work and it's no surprise mine hasn't been handled yet. However if that is the case why aren't some of the other admins helping her out? My ticket isn't being handled by her nor has it been transferred to her.

Glad to hear it's not just one UA handling this! Still doesn't help me - it's been way over a day and I am still missing my items that I want to use, but hopefully it can be sorted out soon. Until this gets resolved I can't do much with Fireside ike burn the items in case it targets one of the few CS items that made it to my inventory. I don't want to remove them from my inventory in case they need to be deleted and redistributed or something. I don't want to buy more stuff from the cash shop in case that messes something up. It's honestly just very frustrating to me right now.
