I think that Shinwa's Quests sorely need a revamp. Seeing as how Maleria's Quests and Cursed Quests got a revamp, I'm not sure why Shinwa's Quests never did.

1. Shinwa's art. I mean, look at it, especially compared to Maleria's. It's very outdated.

2. The High Scores page re-added/fixed. Right now, it's broken and non-existent, despite still being linked to the Shinwa's Quests page.

3. Increased rarity prizes/new prizes for Shinwa's Quests. Right now, Shinwa's prizes are hardly worth much, save for maybe the Essence of Shinwa (which also sorely needs a revamp).

4. Changing Shinwa's Quests to be more in line with the other Quests (such as Cursed and Maleria's), including adding a Quest Shop and Quest Point/sP earnings to Shinwa's Quests.

Overall, due to Shinwa's relationships to Maleria and Mori/Nori, I would love to see a Shinwa's Quests revamp be included along with a new focus on the old "Shinwa/Maleria rivalry" story, along with Mori/Nori being involved in said rivalry. Maybe a Shinwa revamp could also be included with a new/old feature or site wide event/plot, such as a "Quest War" (join Shinwa's or Maleria's team, high scores for those who complete the most quests/plot events) or a Restock War. Or, maybe a new Subeta holiday could even be introduced. There are a lot of possibilities to accompany a Shinwa's Quests revamp.

Any booster that you get from her is worth doing the quests, not just the essence. The amount of good and bad items is like 50/50. It's basically a chance quest. It's also a little bonus for those that don't quest regularly because you need to complete 5 quests to finish hers, so you get profit along the way. Her prizes are fine. As for an image revamp, it's not important.

None of the boosters she gives out are worth less than 100k, it'snot just the Essence. Even though she's been stingy the last few days and giving me her useless stuff, I just made 200csc off selling her prizes. Plus, as mentioned, you get profit from the other quests you do on her quest. I do agree that her art could use an update, though, and I'm sure a quest shop for her would have some lovely items, so I'd like to see that in the future.

My understanding was that this forum is more for feedback on revamps that have already happened, but if it's in the wrong place an admin will move it, no problem.

She definitely needs an image revamp, but the quest is fine the way it is. It's profitable enough and I don't think she needs her own quest shop. There'd just be overlap with the Wizard's quest shop because they're so similar in theme (Sacred Lands and all that).

I certainly agree with points 1 & 2.

I disagree with 3 & 4. Shinwas is the only quest I do daily. I try to do others, but hers is the only one that I make a special effort to get done. Granted she does toss some junk out, but I can accept that because its the highest chance to earn stat boosters any where. I don't want to lessen my chances of getting a booster because she's giving out quest points instead. I also don't want to increase the number of her quests, I like that we can only do 1 a day.

I like that Shinwa's quests are still this way, honestly. Otherwise the stat boosters she gives would plummet in price and it wouldn't be worth it.

I think the quest items are fine. they are meant to be chance so you don't always get something amazing but when you do get any boosters they're always worth a decent amount. I make a lot off of those. I also like that they're only once per day since that's what keeps hte value up. I see where you're coming from with the art but I think her pose is really cute now xD but I'm sure they'll get around to it eventually. A quest shop would be cool but it'd probably take forever to collect anything lol

Idk, I find her quests to be the most worth-it of any of them, and I don't even get the Essence that often. I don't know how you quest, but personally I make 20-30mil every few weeks JUST from selling the boosters she gives out (+ the amulets I get from Quentin). I actually quite like the prizes the way they are and wouldn't be happy if they were fucked with.

I also find your 4th suggestion to be unnecessary, because... again, Idk what you do, but my experience is that I make a huge profit from her already. It just takes patience.

The only thing I support being revamped is her art, and I guess if people want a high score table or whatever, that's fine, too. But I DO NOT SUPPORT A QUEST REVAMP FOR SHINWA, and I would probably stop participating in them if they were messed around with much. Shinwa's quest is the one that encourages me to do my other quests, so, without her quests as they are to get the ball rolling I probably wouldn't ever quest at all. They are not broken, and I would really hate for this to become one of those situations where staff fixes something that doesn't need fixing.

Art? Yes. Please revamp her art. Quests? Nope. No support. Please do not touch them.

Cosmetically, the quests could definitely do with a once-over, but mechanically they're fine. Other than revamping the character art, I'm not sure what else could be done to make them look better. They should probably be more like the other quests with the quest giver art on the left side and text etc. on the right. Then if you got to actually see the bracelet after you bring her all the pieces that would spruce the quests up a little bit. And instead of just being a bracelet there could also be a necklace or her hairbands or something, and it would be random which one you'd be finding each day, just for a little added color.

But that would be pretty much the very bottom of my wishlist, site art-wise.

only thing I think might want to be changed is the need to do other quests in order to do this quest o-o it makes it annoying when I forget to do shinwa first (not often any more, I've learned) other than that, she has great prizes, and I don't really care about her npc image.

the only changes to this quest i could really buy are adding in the missing quests: graveyard quests, mori/nori quests, carl and cinthia, really. saggi and sarah should be left out since you can have one but not both.

oh and revamp the art because it needs it really badly.

apart from that, the prizes are fine. there needs to be junk to balance out the fact that shinwa is one of the steadiest sources of low cost/low effort boosters, and those will always retain their value as long as we have people training their pets.

but overall, these quests are fine as is. in fact, they're better than they used to be, because it used to be such that your prize for completing the quests was ONLY the missing piece of bracelet, meaning that you'd miss out on the wizard token/item/sp that you'd have gotten otherwise. you used to have to juggle that missing profit with the prospect of getting a stat booster, which is why it was so terrible to get the 50 sp shoes for your troubles. but now, you're still getting profit from the quests you do along the way, so who cares if you get the dummy prizes. you come out on top no matter what.

After looking at and considering most of the responses, I'd have to say I agree with you now wholeheartedly! (That and making Shinwa's Quests look similar to the other Quests on her front/default page.)

Definitely second the suggestion to add in more of the other quests (Quentin, etc) as Shinwa quests!

I am def. in favor of adding in the other quest givers to Shinwa. I dont think anything else NEEDS to be changed other than maybe update the art.

Shinwa definitely needs an art revamp and a quest shop. I'm also for a Shinwa/Maleria restock or quest war with Mori and Nori respectively. All of Maleria's talk of world domination has to be leading up to something in the near future, and Mori and Nori have lots of potential in a plot between the two goddesses.

I'm neutral about the other suggestions, but I'd like for the above to happen.
