Is this tiny blue box supposed to be the new icon to show people it's your birthday? If so I feel pretty saddened by this. =/

Compared to this I feel like my birthday got downgraded. Not to say the blue gift box isn't cute. It's just so small and hardly noticable that I feel like it would be easily overlooked.

Nope. It's just nice to have people say happy birthday to you and to have the spotlight for one day out of the year. It's a nice feeling. Btw I like your forum image. I love the older Alice In Wonderland movies.

Happy birthday! If you look at your name on the topic list that shows who created the topic, you will see the regular cake icon. ...At least, I do. I see the blue box by your name.

I do... I just hope they keep it. It's so cute. I like easily noticing when it's other people's birthday too. I enjoy gifting people.
