Is anybody else having trouble getting floating items? I have the CustomCSS code to bring them to the top of my page in a box and that has worked the two times I've had one show up. Nevertheless, I've been spending tons of items at the Bonfire and I'm just not getting any floating items.

A lot of people have mentioned that they don't seem to show up quite as frequently as floating items have in past events. If you check the comments in the fireside news item, its mentioned several times. I've found a few, but I too think they are showing up less frequently.

Yeah they are definitely WAY more rare. I'm finishing up doing all my quests (lots of page loading...) and I've still only gotten a handful of floating items .-.
