There's no reason why those items are there and they are just taking space and very annoying when you create a combo, especially when there is a new combo and you already have a lot of items there. Can you please hide them from the lab please??

Ugh yes please. I remember the first time I went there to make a combo I was thoroughly confused as to why more items were appearing as options then I had items in my inventory and it took me a moment to realize that they were my locked items.

There's no reason for them to appear there, they don't anywhere else (that I recall anyway).

I'm pretty sure locked items are, for the most part, just to keep them safe from things like random events. The now retired rotten rogue, lizard minions, and things like the zapper and the red rreign when you piss him off. Other than the quickstock, I'm fairly certain they show up any place you have to select items, such as trades and Ian's place.

Personally, I don't really support it changing. Just be aware of your items.

, locked items don't show up in trades (neither creating or offering). Nor do they show up in the Fragmentizer, Gift Center, or donating to the food center. Can't think of anything else that has inventory lists like this.

Locked items are items that you can keep in your inventory, not necessarily to keep them safe from events (though that was a nice perk) but also just so you don't have to constantly watch out for them. I keep the lizard trap and spray locked so that whenever I quickstock I don't have to hunt them down and uncheck them. I also tend to keep a handful of pretty items in my inventory so I can view them frequently. Sometimes I'll keep a present I want to send out in a day or so to a friend or stickers I need added to my collection but haven't gotten around to having them stuck yet. It's a really handy and quick way to keep some stuff organized in the inventory. There's no reason they should show up for Ian really, just seems like a (years long heh) oversight.

Idk I'm actually in support of all locked items showing up in places like that. I think the lock feature should only be for keeping items safe from outside forces, not human error.

But the point is that there is no meaning for the locked item to show up at Ian's Lab. I can understand in other places like the trades. But there, they are just taking place and annoying.. because you're not going to use them anyway to make a combination (and if you do, unlock the item..)

To each their own, I suppose. I still think the locked items should only be for outside forces, not for you not paying enough attention. Besides, if the combo doesn't work at Ian's place you just get the items back, don't you? So it doesn't matter if you accidentally click them.

but why should I have the opportunity to choose them in the first place? it's not that I'm afraid to loose them by accident, it's not the issue here at all. The issue here is that there is no purpose for those items to show up at Ian's, after I chose to lock them and make them disappear from QS, fragmentizer and other things..

And outside forces, we have only the zapper right now, and the bonfire on fireside, the stealing RE is gone.. so to minimize this perk only for one feature is not reasonable at all..

Why is it a big deal that you can? Like I said, you get the items back if the combo doesn't work. If you don't want to use them, just don't click on them. Pay attention to what you have on your screen, it shouldn't be subeta's job to babysit you with your items.

I can understand them not showing up in QS because there's no pictures, only text, and the frag because they added a select all button (I think?). But literally anywhere else, I think they should be there.

I think locked items should be shown in all those places, but set apart from all of your unlocked items just like they are in your inventory.

Personally I don't think locked items should show anywhere but your inventory.

However, the way it is now is the worst of all possible worlds since they show up some places, don't in others and you never know whether or not to watch out for them. I would most prefer them to be all the same.

Setting them apart, as suggests would be an okay compromise.

I am with on this. Locked items are just that - locked - and shouldn't show up anywhere but inventory. It doesn't matter why you have them locked, and there are a number of reasons people lock them. The main reason I would like to see them locked, probably is of no consequence to those who don't work on Genetech combos, but having extra items show up makes it just that much harder to work through the combos. I usually have 8 - 10 items locked at any one time for various reasons, and it really clogs things up.

I agree it is bad the way it is and Speiro's suggestion would be good.

I'm with those that think locked items should only show up in our inventories. We have them locked for a reason, I'm not asking the staff to "baby sit" our items. I just think that if we've already taken the precaution given to us, locking them, and they show up anyway then it's sort of pointless to be able to lock them in the first place.

Either keep consistent with them showing up or not showing up at all. If it's the former, then please do as suggested and make it to where there's a definite way for us to know what's locked and what isn't.

The current system is inconsistent and just gives the impression that the programmers never finished sorting out locked items not showing up in places they shouldn't.

As for human error, I'm disabled and sometimes my co-ordination isn't very good. Other players have poor eyesight. Why should we be punished just because the site isn't consistent so we could end up making a mistake?
