You know, I'm all for making a challenge round difficult. But six multiword names in sixty seconds? That's not difficult, that's IMPOSSIBLE.

I am totally with you, I love a good challenge. But one that is totally impossible will just annoy players and they wont participate in the challenge and I wont be participating. I would if there was better than slim to none chance of winning.

I think more-word items are okay, since they are easier to figure out. I absolutely hate one-word items that I would never be able to guess, e.g. ~8+ letter Minions.

But maybe reduce it to 5 items or give a bit more time. Yesterday I failed at "raCo" 'cuz I had no time left to check if "Cora" was an item here (If you wonder: no it isn't. Caro would've been the right one =.=). I'm also wondering do you have to send the form for finishing/guessing or can you also win when the time runs out and everything is filled with the right names?

I very much agree. There is such a large number of items on this site that it actually seems rather absurd that more than a handful of people know enough of the unique names to unscramble 6 items within 60 seconds. At least with things like beanbags and plushies there's some consistency with how the name is formed (A lot of them are Color Pet TypeOfItem), but with minions, there is no consistency in the slightest. Not to mention how 60 seconds seems like it wouldn't be enough to unscramble a single large word (such as an 8+ letter minion like mentioned), let alone 6.

Perhaps a better and more balanced idea would be 6 item names given one after another, with 60 seconds for each one? Or maybe even 30 seconds. Also, to balance out the inherent probability that some item names will be more difficult to unscramble than others, perhaps whatever time you have leftover after unscrambling one name could be added onto your time for the next name.

I like how it is now. I think it keeps the items rare without making them entirely unobtainable. And I think it being easier for users who know all those minion names and such is a good thing bcause even if you're horrible at all the other games you can be good at this game with some effort and time put into just the site itself. The only problem I have is that, depending on Subeta's lag, the actual time needed to complete it ranges from 50-55 seconds rather than the full minute because it has to be able to process you clicking to finish the game before the 60 seconds run out.

So no, , you don't win if you complete it, but time runs out, I actually made a topic to hopefully change that here :P. The even suckier part is that the next page just says that you ran out of time rather than giving you the answer to any questions you did answer.

Btw the 8+letter minion was the a genetech combo which is probably more than 2 years old. Never saw it before. Same goes for not-obvious old DP/Collection minions.

I think the amount of time and words is fine. Although I wish minions were removed from the challenge if possible, since no matter how good you are at these games, there's no way to guess a 7+ letters minion name that isn't even similar to any real words. It's really annoying when I finally get a challenge after 30+ games, and have to quit because I got a 10 letters minion that I've never seen before :c

I'm really bad at this game (I'm not a good test taker haha), and the only challenge round I've gotten so far I was just a few seconds shy of so I wouldn't say this is impossible (still easier than the hope-your-lucky hard reflection game).

I do, however, agree that minions with one word names should be excluded from the challenge round. It's easy enough to figure out something like orange or potato but most minions have made up names and often look like some mashed the keyboard rather than something I can decipher.

I've gotten close a couple of times. It really depends on what items you get. Like if you get a bunch of pet plushies, beanbags, and elixirs, it should be super easy. I don't think it needs to be changed just yet.

The one time I got the challenge I was shy on two because I was panicking too much to be able to think straight anymore. I'm with the crowd to ban minions from the game though, lol, I can /never/ guess those, even the ones I've seen before because I can't remember the correct spelling half the time and it makes me insane.

I like the current difficulty, have been close many times so I know it is possible. The frustrating part for me is getting to the actual challenge round. It would be nice if we could just play it once per day. I understand it would have already been implemented if you wanted it to function that way and I appreciate it's like that to encourage people to play the game more. I just find myself skipping each round until a challenge instead of playing them to win 500-2000 sP.

i wonder if subetacentric words can be removed from the challenger round all together?

Idk the single-word answers trip me up more generally than the multi-word ones, whether they're made up subeta words or real words (for example, I just got the item , thankfully in a normal round, because I had to skip it. Sidecar is a real word but there was no way I was going to come up with it). At least with multi-word answers, you might have a little help if you can pick out a color or a plushie/beanbag/sticker (or even if you can just figure out words here and there, it helps. It could at least give you something to look up for the answer)

I have to say that I like the challenge mode as I find it, well, challenging. But if you're given four or five word items for each one, I can't possibly type all of that in 60 seconds. That's where my issue with the challenge mode comes in. Out of all of the challenge modes I've had so far, I've known all of the items, but only once was able to actually type all of them fast enough.

I'd be happy if it stays at 6. I managed to beat it twice with around 15 seconds to spare. Try to spot the common words (stuff like plushie, beanbag, delish, viv, vanity all appear often, alongside colour names like arid, twilight etc) and use the drop down on Shop Search to narrow it down further. The harder things are obviously the unique Subeta names, but that's what makes it a challenge. :P Try to pick out words you know and go from there. The capital letters have made that much, much easier.

Maybe it's because English isn't my first language, but I totally flip when the challenge round comes along. Even simple words like "purple" look like Chinese to me when scrambled... Also the timer counting down isn't helping, I go in full panic mode seeing the seconds disappear, lol! The few times I got the bonus round, most I've gotten correct were 3 words, usually only getting 2 of them fully correct.
