My sister, bless the poor thing's heart, has a brain disorder that randomly causes seizures. She's been in-and-out of the hospital for months and even came close to death at one point. All she wanted was to see her fiancee who left for Pittsburgh a year ago. We were going to give it our all to raise the money ourselves but this "friend" (we're calling him a friend for now :) ) told her that if she stayed strong through all her testing and hospital visits, he would take her as a reward. I spent months after I found this out worshiping the ground this kid walked on and metaphorically kissing his ass just so he wouldn't change his mind and would take her. I was so grateful that someone was going to be nice enough and take her up there to see him. Every day this month she'd wake up with the biggest smile, even when she woke up in the hospital, and tell me how she 'couldn't believe it was happening' and how everything just 'felt like a dream come true.'

Well, I've come to find out there are no "nice" people in this world who will just do something to make someone happy. What started as a "reward" turned into him using the poor desperate girl to get what he wanted. My sister is very, very attractive (she's actually a model; online, though she will be doing a shoot with SuicideGirls soon) and he wasn't too happy that she was already off of the market, so he had her send naked pictures, about five each day, even while she was in the hospital. She showed me everything last night when she came into my room absolutely hysterical. They were supposed to leave this Wednesday, her fiancee was all excited to see her and told her he would be waiting for her when she got off the bus. But like I said, people are worthless scum, and they're not happy unless someone else is miserable. He waited all this time to get her hopes up and then responded with "Well I'm not taking you unless you fuck me before we go. Deal."

Um, excuse me you fucking parasitic excuse for a human being? How dare you EVEN say that let alone use my sister who is the kindest sweetest fucking thing you will ever meet just for your own pathetic gain. You can eat my ass. No. You can eat the entirety of my ass. And I hope karma puts your ass down because in my opinion you don't deserve to breathe you sorry sack of dog shit.

But for a long story short, and for anyone wondering: She said no, told him she was not a cheater (like she did in past messages), then he kept saying he wasn't going to take her unless she did, so she called him out and everything and he turned off his phone like it was nothing.

So now here we are (though it's more like me because my boyfriend is in Ohio right now and won't be back for months.)

I'm trying to make this girl's dream come true, more-or-less make her year, and get her to Pittsburgh. So does anyone know any good crowd-funding or fundraiser sites that might help?

- I'm so sorry your sister and you are going through this. While I can't recommend any crowd funding sites, I can say not every guy is a total jerk.

It's terrible dealing with a guy you think wants to help, but just uses your desperation as an opportunity to get in your pants. I had a guy "friend" a few months ago that I was talking to. I had a rough summer and becoming suicidal, and I needed someone to comfort me. I was with my ex at the time, but he was out of the country and being very unsupportive. So, I talked to this guy and thought he just wanted to comfort me. It turns out he wanted more than that. I went over to his place like an idiot and got drunk. He took advantage of this. The week after, I asked if he was interested in dating me. Nope... of course not. He got what he wanted and wanted nothing more from me.

Anyway, since then, I've been with a boyfriend that has shown me that not all guys are like that. He actually has helped me get out of another suicidal stage without wanting to get in my pants. He's so respectful and actually loves me for who I am. He has restored my faith in humanity.

Long story short, your sister should kick this guy out of her life. There will be generous people that will help you on whatever site you choose to go to. And, there's definitely guys out there that will be willing to help without asking for anything in return.

Why in the name of creation would she send naked pics to some guy just for a ride ? He's an absolute sleaze, what a fucking filthy pig. I would have bailed, chances are her fiance is going to find out and this is going to cause a lot of hardship between them.

I don't know about the crowdfunding either. Like who's legit n all that jazz.

Maybe offer to pay for gas or something ? What a nightmare. It's awful having hopes dashed like that, ideally one of them can make it to the other one. Good luck, believe me I know what it's like to be unable to drive and trapped.

One thing that doesn't quite make sense to me though (and I swear I'm not trying to stir up drama and there is no need to respond to this) BUT, I can't help but wonder why her FIANCE couldn't come to see her? She's the one sick in the hospital, yet She has to go to HIM? idk man, there's something up.

If you want a quick restoration of your faith in humanity, just think about all the doctors who were/are working to help your sister. They spent like 8 years in additional schooling just to ready themselves to help save lives, when they could have chosen any other career path. It all lead up to them helping your sister during her medical crises. ^_^
