Is there ever a set discount for the event? I'm trying to square away all the csc I'll need for the 24th

they tend to announce it a few days before or the day of sale starting. Also it lasts a week

plus there are always plenty of new items released during that time, which makes it pretty difficult to determine how much csc you might really need.

I did plan on getting probably 2-3k extra csc because of the extra items they release. I just wasn't sure if the discount would be like 2012 when I last paid attention to black friday or if it would be something different.

many items, not all, tend to get a 25-50% discount but also sometimes I'm hard pressed to find items I want even on this good sale. Slots and renames are always best gotten at this time due to discounts though

unfortunately, no one but staff can really answer that with any surety, and they nnormally don't answer questions about upcoming events. That takes all the surprise out of it.
