- You can see all of the skins available on the site.
- You can click the Claim Link to claim the skins that you are wearing now. Example: You have a zapper v2 skin on, it will remove that hex from you and give it to you as a skin. You can then put it on / take it off whenever you want!
- Achievements can now have skins as a prize.
We recently took a look at some of our policies (it should be hard to be a zombie, if you want to have a special skin, you should have to suffer a little bit, etc) and decided that they didn't really make sense for the site that we are today. Basically, making things hard just because isn't really fun for anyone.
So, if you are a zombie, you can now be human with the click of a button.
Note: You can only have skin on at a time.

It's a little bit confusing. Now I can use my zombie skin and zapper skin and the regular HA skin, without losing them? And if I'll choose to be with the HA skin, will skitters be close for me and I'll have to use my zombie skin each time I want to visit skitters?
Right. You'll gain them all in the skins panel and can use them any time. :)

Interesting! I am glad to see the "suffering zombie" bit being reconsidered, even though it makes me regret curing that one year with the awesome stone statue.
... my only 'fff' is this was done -after- morostide/zapper skins, otherwise it'd have been great to get all those skin options. Would be super awesome if, in light of this new feature existing, Euclid let us zap ourselves for a week or so.
Otherwise super cool, especially for zombies!
We have some plans, but we aren't really rushing to let people go back and zap again, or anything. The same skins will be available next year and will fit into the same system.
I've been working on the base thing for awhile and it all came together recently, so it got released when it was ready to go out.

Also, I haven't seen the normal base skin in so long that my HA now looks naked. XD
Oh and I no longer have to deal with the beast skin. How I despised and loved that skin.

Aww. I would have hexed myself more if I knew I could change skins. :/ I didn't hex myself at all, maybe once, during moros. So now I have to wait until next year.
You'd have only been able to keep one skin anyway :) The claim button only gives you what is currently on your avatar.

This seems super awesome but i'm afraid to redeem my skins or whatever and undo my zombie self, even if temporarily. I don't know. I want the achievements but i don't trust it yet. >_>
