Does anyone know why they were removed from the CS?

They're obsolete. You can buy layers directly with sP in the beta wardrobe.

- Ah that would explain it. Which sucks as the beta wardrobe doesn't load well on my phone or iPad which is what I use to play the site :P Oh well. Guess I'll mess with it when I have a day off then. Thank you!

When you get ready to get more layers, you have to put on the max amount +1 more to get prompted to buy a layer.

Since you're a gold account it will probably go like, for example, you put on 3 hats, then another hat to make 4 hats in the hat layer, then the layer will turn red and say !info. You click on info and it will come up on the right side: "You can only wear 3 items on your hat layer! You are currently wearing 4 . You can purchase an additional slot for 75,000sP for 1 month! " Then there's a button that says buy slot.

Just wanted to say thank you for asking this question. I had been wondering the same thing and had NO IDEA you could purchase layers in the beta wardrobe directly (and it's cheaper too!). So thanks! :)
