Beta Wardrobe Base Layer The avatar base is now part of the layer options! Right now it includes your eyes, mouth, and nose in that layer.
Notes
- At the moment you can use your base to cover up your hex (zombie skin, etc) but it won't actually save that way on your avatar on the site.
The Future
- Making it so that your "hex" skin (zombie skin, zapper) are part of your actual base layer, instead of a hex, so it can be moved around. This system is built, we just have to actually transfer over all of the current base types.

Possibly me being confused - but does this mean that people will have facial features again, even with skins?

So in the future we will be able to cover it up?
We have the ability to turn it off / on per skin. So, if a skin has eyes (butterfly zombie skin, for example) we will turn off features you've selected. If not (and you can see an example on my HA right now) your features will show up.

If i change my avatar Expression and Save it, will my current outfit still be there?

Duuuuuude this could be really cool in the future! Except now my regular avatar base is on top of my zapper skin while in the beta wardrobe and it looks ridic lol

I think you're going to make some folks very happy with this :) It makes me regret (again) getting rid of my zombie skin before the last Pandemic haha.
Avatars that were broken are being fixed now :)

I was wondering why this suddenly came up on Tumblr. :0
Which gives me the opportunity to ask: for the people with both a zombie and zapper skin, are they considered the same layer? I have both, and sometimes wonder what the zombie skin would look like if layered over the zapper one instead of under it.
They are going to both be considered bases going forward, which means you'll only be able to wear one at a time.

Oh, hm. One at a time as in your base can only BE one or your base can only SHOW one?
(My wardrobe is still using the default for the base so I can't see either in the editor yet.)
at the moment i can't actually click the base button to edit eyes, mouth, skin color, etc - has that not been implemented in the beta wardrobe yet?
