I used to get a least three or four Invites every week. It's been at least 2 or 3 weeks since I've gotten even one. I have gotten raffle tickets in that time though. Did something happen with this or was the amount you get cut down? Or is everyone else still getting them and it's just me not getting them anymore? If it's something that's been changed I have to say I don't love it. I guess it's on me that I assumed that the raffle tickets would be at the same frequency as the Invites but I can't help but wonder, did they tune down the frequency of invites when they started the raffle tickets? Now I'm only getting one and not the other, which is really suspicious to me..
I keep an eye on the prices of the invites and mess with the frequency of the events based off that. Before the anniversary, the invites were super common. I've been adjusting the frequency since then because seriously they were more common then the throw a pie or blackmoon events.
The event is still common, just not the low number it was before! Like I said, I've been watching it and adjusting (like I just changed it today, so you should be seeing them a bit more).
wow, what a quick response! When I saw the new set in news today I was like noo, lol, they have abandoned me. Thanks for adjusting them again. :) You are always so on top of things! <3
No joke, I can't remember the last time I got an invite. I seriously think its been since last winter that I got one. I've had a few nice people donate some to me throughout the year. I'm on every day. Not sure how that all pans out. How are people getting several a week and I get only a couple a year?
Yeah, have seen these in a while, but it seems like the price is stable at 500k, though the hoard of like 500 invites at that price might be the reason lol.
Is the one RE an hour limit thing true? someone mentioned it somewhere and im now just wondering.
I used to get them while just browsing the site. I do a lot of questing sometimes which means a lot of clicking so that might have something to do with why I was getting more in the past. I'm not sure though!
lol, probably! They used to be a little more than that if I remember correctly. I've never heard of that RE limit before. I think with how random/rare they are chances are pretty slim that you'd get two in the same hour but I don't know if it's ever been proven or dis-proven.
just out of curiosity lol.. I did notice that a few items from the Subq Shop have gone down in price in user shops. Is that one of the reasons you were tweaking the amount of invites going out? (Mostly the Devile line I believe.)
Yeah, i remember the prices were higher, but i didnt not expect the prices to skyrocket. I expected them to slowly increase. I sold like 250 @ 400k overnight just because i wasnt paying attention (i forgot to pull out a bunch for personal use). oh well, shit happens.
Really? I usually find invites almost every week. It's strange how you guys don't get them. That's actually concerning, because now I feel it's unfair, like just earlier I found one right after the news about a new line and reading about the other people not finding any for months. :/

I got one yesterday for the first time in weeks D:
Like I said, I increased the chances of finding the invites earlier today. :) Going to be keeping an eye on prices / how many go out over the next week or so to see if I need to change it again.
thank you for the quick response and for keeping an eye out!
I'm curious, are there going to be more SubQ retirements soon?
Dang, I hope I score some, then! Someone just gave me one as a gift and it made me feel bad, like I was soliciting for them -- point being, I prefer to get my own invites and with that new line out I need to start raking them in again.
Ah, if I only I had the same luck I had about two Luminaires ago, when I had like thirty of them at any given time...
would it be possible to decrease the number of Uncharted Land maps going out? A piece sold for like.. 70k in my shop the other day.

The problem with valuing the invites at 400k is that almost nothing in the shop maintains a value that lives up to that cost for very long at all. Another 200k to buy the item means that it's largely not worth it.
Good to hear the frequency's been increased! Thanks :)

The only RE I still seem to get is the damn Ice King so I'm glad to hear that the chance for Invitations has been increased again and I hope I will find some...if only to avoid Ice King's ugly face a couple of times, I seriously started to hate him. X'D
Glad to hear they've been increased; I've been getting maybe one a week recently, which is a bit poor. Hopefully I'll stop finding so many map pieces too. It seems to commonality of invites has been reduced in favour of map pieces. Keeping a close eye on invite prices while letting maps crash in value seems a little counter-intuitive.
Edit: I've found two invites in the last hour and a half. Excellent!
I think the prices have actually stabilized, which is nice, because for a while the prices were pretty horrible.
I had made a post about it on 10/5 and the current prices had dropped to less than 1 mill for the entire map.
current prices:
190k / 770k / 366k 600k / 350k / 540k 80k /200k / 275k
about around 3.4mill to complete, which seems a lot more reasonable!
Yeah I messed with the odds of the pieces going out too. Keeping an eye on them so it doesn't take like 30mil to complete the set but not like 200k either haha
