If you could tell someone in the 1990's something about the 2010's in order to mindfuck them, what would it be?

Example: "There are now over 700 pokemon" or "My Little Pony is popular with older men"

You won't use the landline to use the internet. You can watch full videos online for free, instantly. Landline phones are a thing of the past. People use the internet on their cell phone. Beanie Babies were not a good investment (that one's for my parents).

I'd tell them that cell phones that don't fit into your pocket are really popular these days. :P I remember how everyone always wanted to own the smallest phone available in the 1990's/early 2000's, myself included. XD

Oh, luv, I lived through both and I'm only 25. XDD You should be asking the opposite - what would you tell a child of today to screw them up? "When I was your age, we had nine planets and internet took up the phone. You could always tell when someone was online because you'd pick up the phone and the net would disconnect."

Oh, I meant as in time-traveling to the past and telling someone in that time period (not someone who grew up during that time) something about today. XD

Cell phones will get really small then really big again.

the president will take 4 months to pick out a new family dog. People will be butthurt by simple comments. Being nice to people will mean you are flirting! Video games will not be in pixel format! EDIT: thought of more You can order food for delivery without a single phone call. The internet no longer requires wires to a computer! You can watch TV on a game console. There will be events that are once in a life time on ONLY the internet!

I would say Sega no longer makes consoles and Mario and Sonic were in some games together.
