I am wondering if people feel like the Lizard Minion Trap is worth the cost of around 5 mil. Have you benefited in some way from having one?

The first day I bought it I caught a plushie worth about 5 mil. The second time was a couple million. The third I don't remember. I've probably had it a couple of months. So yes. I don't know how well you do with quests and games but I can make ~2 million sp daily if I put forth the effort. So if it hadn't been worth it, it would only have been a couple days loss.

You also need to make it a guarantee (or at least near-guarantee, though I personally have never missed an item since having both) that you'll get the item, but yes I think they're worth having.

        @moonstarr totally worth it.  However, I think the odds have been warped.  You used to have the same odds if you had just the trap or the spray or both of getting an event, and these odds were much less than the actual occurrence of the Random Event if you had none of these items.  Recently because of the Achievement update, I have put my Spray into my Vault, and I've been getting a lot more events than I ever have.  So I wouldn't do both the spray and the trap because even though you do get the item if you have both, the likelihood of getting the event is less than half.

The first month I had one I caught a Nightmare Potion. I think the value of what gets caught is a little less now, on average, now that rares are more available, but it's still hit or miss. I'm not seeing as many events as I used to, either, but maybe that's just luck of the draw.

Overall it's been worth it, in general.

I've had mine plus the spray for about a year and a half and have only caught one thing worth about 1mil thus far, but considering how rare REs are for me, it could be worse... u__u

I have had the spray and trap almost since I started several years ago. (I'd say about 4 since I was inactive for the first year).

On average I get an item every 6 months; however for the past month I saw him twice. I don't usually check the value since I just toss the items in my gallery for the hoarding achievement.
