So I'm sitting here Subeta'ing, trying in vain to get the last two items that I want before they shoot up in price after the holiday, listening to my parents answer the door to hand out candy to the little nose-picking shits adorable little children, and my mom comes in and tells me to look outside. I look. GIANT WHITE FLAKES OF AWESOME. This is our first snow of the year, and our first snow ever at the new house. So I'm kind of spazzing, lol. Granted, there won't be any accumulation, but still. I loves me some snow.
You like snow? Hate it? Snow stories of being stuck/helping neighbors/hating snow/loving snow?
I never tie my shoes/boots. In Canada, we get those fantastic hard winters with loads of snow and ice and yipee! So, there was a lot of snow and my boot got stuck in the huge pile. I ended up stepping on the snow and I had to battle a bit to get my boot back.
Oh joy. I love winter tho.
I love snow but it barely snows up here at the coast. :c
This year is especially cruel, summer was one disgusting hell and now it's November and still we have temperatures around 16C/61F.
Aw, man, you got Halloween snow? That's awesome. We just got rain. Very cold, very icky rain.
I like snow the best when I'm inside with 5 blankets and 2 cups of hot cocoa. I don't mind shoveling it or stomping around in it for a little while, but it's definitely more of a "look, don't touch" kind of thing for me.
I was so excited to see snow Halloween night when I got out of work! It also snowed yesterday during the day, but of course it didn't stick. It was our coldest day so far this season and I'm looking forward to more cold days and more snow!
Hate when that happens, lol. I pulled my boot clear off a couple times getting stuck like that. BRING IT ON WINTER! XD
My cat, Emma, loves to play in the snow too. XD She gets cold paws after a few minutes though and stops what she's doing and cries at me to pick her up. Then when I do, she purrs like a little motor.
Snow is one of those things I missed about Michigan and New Mexico. It's too warm here in Northern California, still 68 and even warmer if you're in the sun longer than 2 seconds.

We got a Halloween snow here a couple years back. It was awesome.
I hate winter - I'm a summer baby, tyvm! - but I like snow, especially fresh snow before the snowplows come through and mess it all up.

oh man, i grew up in northern maine right on the border to canada so i am very familiar with snow. i absolutely hate it tbh. we got our first snow of the year on the first of november and i've already had to shovel our steps bc it's almost half a foot high in some spots.
i'd much rather live somewhere blisteringly hot than anywhere that gets this much snow every year. :c
i'm so ready for christmas. i just like snow, and decorations and the lights.
I'm from a desert environment, but this year I'm in a place where there's snow. I hate it. I experienced it only a few times growing up, and it never lasted long, or on visits to the mountains. The sun isn't shining and it's cold and there will be lots of ice and snow eventually. I won't want to leave the house. I'm going right back to my homeland where there is never snow as soon as the year turns! Haha. I think it's really pretty when it's falling, and the air gets a fresh smell to it, but when it lingers it is not nice...
I love mixed feelings about snow. :P It finally started snowing yesterday, and wow, it seems like there's so much more daylight outside! However, walking in the woods is sometimes really hard when everything's slippery from snow or there's just so much of it that you sink down with every step. ._.
