We don't have too many colorful pet colors other than spectrum/blacklight. What if we had pets that looked like they came from the amazon/rainforest area? This would mostly be basing them on their real-life counterparts. For the pets that don't meet this such as Bovyne, Kanis, etc...the coloring could be done with more of a tropic idea in mind. I don't believe this has been suggested before.
Open to any suggestions or comments :D
Example; Xotl = Poison Dart Frog Serpenth = Emerald tree boa Lain/Fest = Scarlet macaw
I'm not too familiar with indigenous plants of tropical areas, but do you have any examples that would vastly seperate this from the already existing Glade color? I just can't really see any point in this since we already have a plant based pet. [edit] Wowies my reading comprehension has been total crap lately. Okay, I've reread your post and I actually definitely think this should stick to overlays. I'd love to see a parrot/lain, but I just think it fits more in the overlay category because I'd rather not have a color that basically changes pets into something similar to a real life animal.

The Xotl is already based partly on the poison dark frog I think, and you can get it in dusk if you want a blue one. Same with the serpenth (you can get it in field).
A parrot-colored lain would be really pretty, though.

Sure. The main difference would be less of a plant base (except for species specific, such as the Aeanoid) and to shift away from the green palette that we have in glade. So we would have a wider array of colors. Any plants included could also ferns and vines rather than grass. But could include tropical plants such as orchids, Heliconia, and others
