So another night of wild and crazy times and today I'm suffering.
When I was younger it was Hot pockets, napping and then more drinking to cure myself.
These days I believe in just laying in bed and whining about my er...wine-ing. Then I try to get a bacon sammich in me as well as as much tea as I can possibly get in me with 1/2 a tsp extra of sugar. Followed by a nice nap.
So tell me, what are your hangover secrets? Some people swear by a coke and McDonalds french fries. Some swear by Veggie soup. Some claim that just water fixes them.
So do you have a secret hang over cure? Is there something you NEED in order to start feeling better?

Bourbon, gin, vodka with orange juice and a grilled-cheese. Usually good to go.
Wow, that sounds.. heavy. Although I could get all up in some grilled cheese. But I think my lactose intolerance will exacerbate some of the hangover symptoms that I really hate.

I hold alcohol really well .. (too well if you ask my opinion). I always tell my friends to drink water and eat when they drink. I found that aspirin helps a little .. but not really awesome either.
When I got home last night I couldn't sleep because the room was spinning.. So I think staying up all night watching the office and then this morning having hubs make me crumpets and fried eggs before we both finally went to sleep for 6 hours really helps.

I don't really get hangovers, but when I do - a shot of what ever I was drinking fallowed by lemon water then an apple and something Chinese. or if its really bad I just shiver about and go on with my day.
The few times I've been hungover, it's been drinking water or diet soda and a filling snack.
definitely Gatorade for me! it seems to combat the dehydration from too much alcohol pretty well, and my hangovers normally leave me feeling nauseous so liquids are the best way to get something in my stomach. though I did have a couple awful hangovers back in my college days when all I could do was sleep it off.....I don't recommend it haha. =P

A fizzy aspirin drink, caramel pudding and listening to Flight of the Conchords usually does the job. 🐤

Gatorade!
My usual cure is to force myself to guzzle some water/gatorade and EAT SOMETHING before going to sleep so I don't wake up miserable the next morning. It's not perfect but it helps loads.
Coffee, water, and tylenol in the morning.
Drink like, two bottles of water before going to bed after a night of drinking.
start drinking earlier. seriously, my mother in law taught me this trick - start drinking at like, 6-8 and eat before. this way, you're not super drunk before you go to bed and you wake up feeling 100% less shitty!
Well, to start with the more optimistic scenario where you actually avoid the hangover, I'd suggest eating well before drinking, and then eating some more and drinking at least two glasses of water before going to bed. BUT obviously there are times when "blrejgjamlgjegllll" happens and you don't care about feeling shitty the next day until it's too late. XD
My hangovers are usually so bad that no matter what I do, I feel nauseous for at least a day and I don't want to eat anything. But eating even a little bit of something sweet or salty helps a great deal - canned pears with yogurt is probably my favourite. Also something like a lime Bacardi Breezer can take the edge off, if you don't have to drive that day... bubbly drinks in general feel good and refreshing.
A friend of mine said that he always takes ibuprofen before going to bed when he's been drinking.
This is what I try to do 100% of the time... but if You don't stop drinking it doesn't work nearly as well :p
Generally if I'm going to have a hang over, unfortunately I am too drunk to even think logically about how to help myself the next day. lol.
Another thing that I do, which I swear to god helps.. or maybe I just get excited about it and so it makes me feel happy... is takeout. Like chinese. God I love a good chinese when I'm hungover. Or cold pizza smothered in ranch dressing if I can find it.

I've never had a horrible hangover, thank goodness, but that's only because I'm a weenie and a light weight. :D
I normally follow what I call "The Rule of Three". For me, 3 drinks is enough to feel a nice buzz, but anything beyond that and I'd be in trouble. Note that I said "normally", not always...
However, if I ever break my rule, I normally take 1 gram of Tylenol to lessen any hangover effects for the next day and hit the sack. It's worked for me so far and I only wake up a teensy bit groggy... and then promptly go back to sleep.
A bagel with cream cheese and bacon on top is also splendid.

hahahaha that's true! It also works as long as you don't go to sleep still drunk. Wait like an hour or so before passing out, you're up late anyway! Buuut since you're already hungover you need a greasy dennys/ihop breakfast (FRIED EGGS) and like a gallon of water.. and tylenol. Tried and true for a reason! ;D hope you feeel better soon !
eta cranberry juice is good too, flush your kidneys :)
I hold my alcohol terribly, so my best hangover cure is to just not drink period. But when I DO drink and am super hungover the next day, I would lay in bed and watch Frozen or just generally be a hermit. At least one time. Soda, too! All dat fizzy goodness helps an upset stomach.
