Could someone please explain to me what exactly is happening? I have found and carved a floating pumpkin - are they rare or common to find? What is with the trick-or-treating? - why the time limit, why did someone comment what they got from me? And what is with the human zapping?
Basically, this is my first morostide so I am completely clueless. Any help would be amazing.
Pumpkins are prettt common, there is even a Collection that you can complete by buying (or carving) one of each.
To trick or treat you can either click a persons profile or a link like [tot=klassikal] it keeps the items from becomming completely worthless, but don't worry because quite a few of the items end up extreemely cheap by the end.
People will usually comment to let you know they stopped by so you can return the favor. Every 5 people that visit gives you a free item.
The Human Zapper is an annual event where for 50 tokens you can zap your HA. It's fully reversible and you can get a cool skin like mine.
there's achievements for carving and deleting the pumpkins, and people collect acheivements. Sometimes comments are just so you can tell what you're giving out. because the site doesn't tell you.
All of these (eventually) cheap items will turn out to be fodder for Quentin's Graveyard Quest.

No problem, your HA has been hexed. You look great as a giant sad balloon. :P
Raffle tickets were dramatically increased, so be sure to keep posting in the forums, the Suggestions forum, Site Feedback and especially ChitChat are great places for earning tickets, just make sure to stay on topic
Yeah I kinda like the balloon look. If I get hexed again, does it change? Or does it go away after a while?

YAY! COngrats! Hexes are defintely temporary, after the novelty wears off they can be pretty annoying since you don't get an item when you are hexed. The fansite Subetalodge has great previews of most fo the older hexes and the Zapper v2 for Human bases.
If you get irritated with constant hexing you can buy or and wear them to be protected. I think the Monocle gets released every year so be forewarned if you buy it now it might be inflated.
That is too bad. I liked the balloon. :) Thanks for the heads up. I will keep that in mind if they get annoying.
Oooh, you've been playing with the Zapper! That is seriously my favorite base ever.

There are a couple that I like. I am hoping to get one. So I know it was mentioned that the zapper skin changes can be reversed. But can you only get them during Morostide?
