I can't give you an actual quote for it, but it's been said by staff that Quentin is andrognous/agender. They're adorable anyway!

It's not a 'thing again' as much as a perfectly reasonable question. Certainly not a big deal, and a cute representation of something that doesn't conform to the typical binary gender. That's it.

It's funny how often this question comes up and the debates it inspires. Personally, I really don't care one way or the other. I just want to know how to get Q to fork over some amulets.

Basically Quentin decided at some point that their gender or lack of gender is nobody's business, and doesn't confirm or deny anything. Quentin is referred to as "they" in the Pedia, so that's what pronoun to use.
