Based on the fact that I've been re-gaining achievements, I'm going to assume that some heavy work was done on that system while I was away.

I'm also noticing a distinct lack of Morostide. I thought it ran through the whole of October. Is it canceled this year, or reduced in length? I'm going through the news archives and not seeing anything on it. Morostide is one of my favorite site events, and one of the main reasons I came back. Can someone tell me what's going on there?

Morostide doesn't start until usually the 15-16th all depends on what staff have planned. It's still going to happen they just cut it from all month to only half the month.

And yes a HUGE pile of work has been done with the achievements.

You need to import all of your old achievements! Otherwise you will have to earn them all back. There should be link on the achievement page. Sometimes they don't all import, so make sure you get everything you deserve!

How do I go about importing them? I can't seem to find a link on the achievements page or in any of the logical places.

You're right the link to import is gone. If you click on the Achievements page there is a link to process missing achievements. Maybe try that and see if that will import them? If not I would make a ticket. When the achievement system was originally being updated Subeta had users make individual tickets for all missing achievements and importing issues.
