Okay I know this sounds silly but I have a huge body image problem.
I need some workout or diet ideas that will be easy for me while I am recovering from the car accident I was in. A drunk driver was going the wrong way down the interstate and hit me head on... I'll be out for awhile.
I'm deathly afraid of gaining weight while I'm recovering because I won't be able to run or do my usual workout ... Yes I'm very thankful to the good lord that I am a survivor, so please do not take my post the wrong way. I've just come to far to have to start Over so I'll take whatever advice I can get!
Thank you and God bless !
I think you should talk to your doctor before you try doing any kind of exercise or dieting. That said, I think you should also ask your doctor about water aerobics- that's often what's recommended to people who've been in accidents and want to stay fit.

First of all, I'm so glad you made it out of that accident. I'm not sure how extensive your injuries are but you definitely don't want a restrictive diet to interfere with your recovery process or premature exercise to possibly end wrong and set you further back.
Healing your body's trauma should be your first priority. That being said I guess I'd stick with general healthy eating habits that people watching their weight would practice anyway like drinking lots of water, getting enough fiber, eating fruits and vegetables, and staying away from processed/junk foods. (That's not very helpful advice so I apologize.) 😅
I agree that you should talk to your doctor and look into physical therapy, a tailored exercise and diet plan, and other steps to ease into after you've fully recovered. Maybe you could ask about fitness videos that focus on stretching, breathing, and exercise that would help you feel better and kill time in your particular situation.
Get better soon! ❤
