How about up to 30 for 4x4 for GA users? The same as quests 10 vs. 15...this would be 24 vs. 30
30 what? Tries? Times you can play?
If you saying tries in a game, no. GA doesn't exist to make the games easier. If you're relating it to quests, yeah you get more quests but a ga doesn't guarantee that you'll always get super cheap items to turn in.
No thanks.

What? No, absolutely not. The game is actually possible to win now. I'd love to have one extra guess (even though I don't think I've ever come down to exactly one card left) but 30 is way too many, especially restricted to a GA.
You're basically being given the game at that point. You could almost uncover every card once before even starting to flip them to match and that is ridiculous.
They already made the game easier, don't make it a cakewalk.

30 guesses does seem a bit excessive, but I will say I'm curious as to how many prizes are going out per day since the change.
I know the closes I've gotten was 14/16, and I haven't seen the two books grace the light of day yet. Though, I dunno a better idea might be lowering the excessive wait times first. Four hours (isn't it?) for a non-GA, and two hours for a GA? Cutting that in half for both wait times couldn't hurt, unless there's a sea of these items going out that just isn't making it out into the (unlucky) general population.
I also haven't done any better than 14/16 and I play every two hours. Perhaps, as said, if the wait time were reduced it would help.
Reduced wait time is a constant across many things for GAs. I don't think people would mind that, but making the game easier would cause an unfair pay2win style bonus that I'm sure would upset many people.
There's always random. 3 hours to 1.5 hours, but it's still less than Reflection, and the prizes aren't even that exciting.
So yes to a reduced wait time. Honestly, I'm hardly getting 10 guesses on the hard level. I need some practice :|
I think a decreased wait time, like they do for Random, would be nice. Or, for games like Spectrail and Caliph's Tomb, even increased send-score limits. But I can't agree to increased guesses. It makes it really unfair.

Tho i would really like it upped to 26 guesses.
30 guesses? Nope too many More guesses? Yes please, 26 would be great I think.
And on the subject of the waiting time: I hate everything that involves a wait time, I want to play the game at my own time. Two hour waits for a game are ridiculous. The only places outside subeta where i've seen games with waiting times was in these annoying games on my phone where they give you wait times and let you pay $ to skip the wait

30 guesses would make it too easy, but right now I feel that the 24 is just...yeah. I don't think winning 4x4 should be cake but the SHEER random aspect to this game is still bloody awful. I've taken to writing down my card flips to decrease my mistakes and I'm averaging 11-13 per game. Of course seeing a repeat of the same 3 bloody cards in succession with barely any cards uncovered thus far is a pita.
I would like to see data on how many people have won and stuff like that if possible. If no one has been come close to winning, then yes, upping the guesses is a good idea.
But perhaps, not many people play it very often because of the wait times? I play it like once a day, though on average once every few days, because i always forget.
I personally play the game 3-6 times a day, depending on the day. As it stands now, you need at least 8 perfect matches (first click is the correct guess) in order to win. The closest I've gotten is 14, and even then that was only once or twice.
I can't say if that (my lousy odds at this game) is just because my "luck" on subeta is nonexistent, or if the long wait periods between game play is just making it harder for me, or if the guesses just rely too much on luck.
I would really love to see the wait time more like 2 hours for non-ga/1 hour for ga, and I'd like to know how many of these prizes are making it into the site daily.
As it stands now it'll probably be a few years before the collectables breech the open market on the shop search, which really really isn't good motivation for me to keep purchasing CS books and spending tens of millions obtaining books for a collection this game is making impossible to complete. I doubt I'm the only collector who feels this way, either /:
I've beat the hard game once and that was right after the guesses were upped. Since then I've done good to get around 13 correct. So by that I've probably used up any luck I had and won't ever beat it again. At least not for another year.
I don't know what it is about the random luck games on here. I swear it seems like someone's idea of random luck is like 1 in a billion chance that changes every second. I think a good motto for the games on here is "We'll suck the fun right out of them and you'll never want to play them again." lmao Add in the "we want these to be rare" so it's an hours long wait to even play again...
I not saying they need to be a walk in the park. I'm just saying my motivation to even care about most of the games here is pretty low. I'd rather play games that are more fun. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother playing Reflection or trying the Crypts.

I changed the numbers of plays per round less than a month ago. I wanted to wait a month to see how many of each item went out, etc, before I messed with the game anymore. It looks like right now I'll likely be adding at least one more turn (instead of just having 24, making it 25). I'm looking into making it to where you can do all your games at once. (Instead of waiting x hours, you'd have x games you can do a day)
I would like to see it raised to 25. This would mathematically make it harder than the 3x3, but not as easy as it is.
Reasoning:
9/15 = 16/26.666, which would give you just about the same chances for each. 16/25 would give a little more chance of winning, but still keep the win rate at reasonable levels and help hold the prize values.
That said, I would also like to see them lower the time between games.
