I browsed over the forums and didn't see this suggested so forgive me if it had been.

I suggest that we change the Blacklight pose to be the opposite of the Spectrum pose. To put it simply, My Spectrum Kumos faces left, so have my Blacklight Kumos face right. This way there's a little more uniqueness to the Blacklight than being a recolor of Spectrum. It would also give users more variety who don't do overlays for their pets.

EDIT: I also feel the flip gives the pets a more Yin and Yang feel. :)

Many images just look strange if you flip them so I prefer the Blacklight Pets as they are.

Is that only because you're used to seeing them one way or they actually look strange? And please examples of what you mean. :)

Their faces look weird and unappealing once they are flipped in my opinion. Cannot edit or upload images from here but examples should be Kanis and Archan, great as they are but when you flip them they look kinda deformed and change in personality...at least for me.

Personally I don't see weirdness or anything unappealing. In fact I think your pets would look more appealing next to each other this way. o.O

If anything I imagine you're feeling how I felt when they changed the Bloodred Kumos. It was a shock to see a different pose after so many years and at first I really didn't like it. But I've gotten used to and now I actually love it.

To me the Kanis looks a lot unfriendlier when flipped (don't know how to word it better, sorry XD) and the Archan doesn't seem to shake its head anymore but looks like it has water in its ears, a stiff neck or waits for being patted. No idea why but flipping it just kills the dynamic in the image for me.

Both looked more playful to me. Especially when next to their Spectrum counterpart. I just feel like the Blacklight pet would have it's own individuality if flipped. Maybe it needs to feel different? More of a Yin and Yang dynamic, opposites yet still one type thing.

It's an interesting idea, although I'm not sure if it would work for all of the Blacklight pets.

That would be awesomely, adorably cute! I'm all about having my pets in a certain order so they face each other so if I had matching spectrum/blacklight pets, this would be a plus!

That's much how I felt after the Galactic/Bloodred Kumos revamps. They looked very strange to me at first, but now I adore them.

That's part of the reason I suggested this, It bothers me that Spectrum/Blacklight appear as "opposites" yet have the exact same pose. This way there's no redrawing necessary but they're more individual colors.

The Kumos doesn't work so well flipped because of their asymmetrical facial markings. The marking is supposed to be on the left eye. The Darkonite is another asymmetrical pet that would be backwards if flipped. Otherwise, it's an interesting idea.
