Could the order of pets be changed so that those with jobs are at the top?
Better yet, the whole thing could use a bit of a revamp. It'd be great if employed and unemployed pets were completely separated. Being able to collect income and do other things from the agency's main page would be neat too, if that's possible. :)
Anybody else got ideas for improving this feature?

I would love it to be more streamlined! Having to collect income from three pets and seeing if they can move up in the company is rather frustrating, and I only have three pets with jobs! It would be great if the employed and unemployed were separate for sure.
It would be kinda neat if your pets were displayed on one page and when you clicked on them, instead of taking you to a new page, you got like a drop-down info thingy of sort. It would have a button to collect interest and ask for a job promotion. All of that without having to go to a new page each time. Don't know if that's possible but would be handy I think.

Different suggestion/addition: Navigation is a huge pain.
The thing I hate most is having to back-toggle out of every individual pet's earning page (specifically a "GO TO THE MAIN JOBS PAGE" instead of a link back to that specific pet's employment page). When I'm done collecting wages for that pet, I don't want to go back to their employment page, I want to pick another pet. I want a main link at the bottom of every page so I don't have to collect earnings and then carefully click my way back out of each pet's jobs profile.
The order doesn't bother me as I think it's currently set to whatever order we have chosen to display our pets. That order makes sense to me. I personally wouldn't need the OP suggestion at all since all my pets have jobs and it would change nothing about my page.

I can totally understand having to collect it for each pet one at a time. With it being a way of creating extra sP, I don't expect collecting income to be made TOO easy. Nice as it would be to have one button to collect for ALL pets, I'm sure that would be shot down. Just keeping it all in one place to make it a little less tedious would be a big improvement.
Edit: Yeah, navigation is a problem with the agency. That's definitely something to be looked at.

I think my biggest problem about navigation is that the "promotion" button is in the center rather than the "collect wages" button. I instinctively click the "promotion" button every single time and get the YOUR PET CANNOT BE PROMOTED error page and get all turned around. I wish they'd move the Wages button to the center instead.
I have plans to update the job agency, so I'll keep an eye on this board to see what you guys suggest!
The front page in general makes me cringe a bit and that's what I really want to start with updating. Since updated the job agency a year or so ago, we've had a lot of changes on site we can use to make the page a lot better looking.
Would you guys like to see some space between each pet (right now they are in a table or div acting like one)? Maybe more distinction between each section? What else would you guys like to see in the employment status box? I feel like that could have a lot more information listed. I want you guys to actually enjoy visiting the page, instead of hating it when you go to collect pet income.
Seriously any suggestions you guys have, post! Comment/build upon other peoples ideas! :) :)

- I’m not sure how well a drop down menu would work for the front page. I think adding those things to the front page under the employ status would be nice, but still have the link to the actual page for those who want to be able to see all the things like job history and job listings?
I think while I play around with this (I'm hoping to start this on Friday?), I’m going to ping you guys to have you look at my dev for the job agency page so we can all discuss changes and what not. :) Just so I can get some live feedback. :D
Just adding them to the front would be great :) We could the job title, collect income, and request promotion all under the "Employment Status" section. Being able to click further into the agency to see the rest of the details would be good.
If possible I'd like to see the layout changed to have two rows of pets. That would help cut down tremendously on the scrolling. What I don't want to see is all those boxes within boxes within grey boxes but not sure if that is avoidable :P

My idea right now is to take them out of the table, or at least not show that border. I would like to double it up, like two pets as you go down if it doesn't end up looking horrible! I'd like to take advantage of headers and different font sizes etc for the different things. Like the section where it has your pet name, I feel like that could easily be above the job infomation or below/above the pet image, and that can take out a whole chunk of space.
A layout similar to that of the Your Pets page could work. Two columns of pets, with plenty of room to the side of each pet for all the links.
If possible, I'd like to be able to collect income for each employed pet without having to go to a separate page. Maybe something like the sP vault, where the link to collect interest shows how much you can collect, and the page refreshes after clicking?
Maybe some ordering options would be good here too. I'd really like my employed pets on top so I don't have to go scrolling down the page looking for them, but for people who have all their pets employed I can see keeping them in custom order being preferred.

For suggestions for the jobs in general - I'd also really to know if my pets in the top position before trying to get in a promotion, personally... and maybe how many more promotions to the top?

That would be good information on the second page (where it shows job history, collect, etc). I def will see if I can figure out how to let a person know YOU ARE AT THE TOP OF YOUR CAREER CONGRATS so you won't have wonder if you have to keep promoting
I'd love a little thing to let me know i've already collected my income for the day, and would dearly love an alert to remind me, but then again if I miss it for being lazy, that's my own fault.

Seeing if income has already been collected would be great! I often forget whether or not I already collected it for the day, and get confronted by the . xD

With the page is currently programmed, I couldn't get two per row, but I think it still looks nicer than before!

Yep! I figured I'd get this much out today at least. I'll be keeping an eye on feedback on the other thread about it and might make more updates throughout the night. :)
