Is it just me or it is highly inappropriate for the 'Russian Mail Order Brides' Advertisements????

I don't know how long this ad has been up since I had a gold account that recently expired.

Doesn't Subeta have a lot of players that are under the age of 18.......like 13, 14, 15?

I'VE BEEN GETTING THOSE TOO. I didn't know it was site-specific, I just thought it was a random ad. But it's not pleasant.

I always have a GA activated but...yeah. I hope something can be figured out regarding inappropriate ads. The majority of the userbase IS older, but the ads definitely shouldn't be.

and I'm glad I'm not the only one getting these ads. It was embarrassing while at work (on my lunch break) I logged on to see what was going on and I get that ad. Thank goodness no one saw. LOL :)

Ads like that have been a problem for subeta for a while. I believe keith said once that they'd report the ads, get them taken down, but within a few months they'd be right back up.

And this is why I'm glad I use Ad-Block when I don't have a GA (but don't worry, Subeta, I buy ALL THE CSC)

I also had custom CSS that removed the ads, but no longer.

I didn't know you could even advertise something like that. I figured it was all shady black-market-type dealings.

I can't imagine any ad company being like "oh yeah that's totally legit. Sure, we'll sell you ad space."

I think I heard staff say it was hard to decide what ads are displayed. That might have been another site, but I hear it's generally hard to control :/

Ugh. It is hard for Subeta to control. :( The people who provide these ads need to do a better job of checking these things before letting them go out.

It's crap like this that drives people to use adblockers.

Omg I'm so happy I always have a GA, but I laughed pretty hard at the thought of an virtual ad for mail order brides. But on a serious note, it really is too bad Subeta doesn't have enough control of the ads :c
