I'm trying to use a SubetaLodge profile layout to customize my profile. However, I find that the only way I can use them is if the default profile layout is at its absolute default level. Meaning I can't add and remove the little widgets and such; doing so renders the new code useless. Is there a way to edit those things and still use a custom layout? Really the biggest thing is I just want to put my avatar up there.

EDIT: I did check to make sure that I followed any special instructions, like widget placement. Still didn't work. Unless I missed something. I'm new here. :)

Depending on which style layout you are going to use you need to rearrange your columns before you add the profile. For instance, if you are using a 2 column profile, everything you want to show on your profile should be in the first two columns before you add the code. And make sure you have the "profile" section added to your profile before adding the code.

I believe adding "profile" was my problem. I didn't know what that was so I never put it up. Thanks! :)
