So,

I just noticed we lost our scrolling list of food consumed and now have 20 rows per-page to gawk at the food we've shoved down our pets face. The problem here is that with the old method I could scroll to the bottom and let the page LOAD fully, then ctrl+f and check to see if I fed my pet a food item already. Now I have to click around to see if I am even in the right letter of the alphabet to begin to search, time wasting.

I highly doubt a return to the full page with the new system in place, but I would petition for a SEARCH bar on the page- or better still a checklist of some sort detailing what a given pet has, or has not consumed yet.

If you are using cntr F and entering the item, it seems it would be just as fast, or possibly faster, to use Account Search. There is no loading time there.

Account Search lists pets food eaten? also, i have to be on the same page as the item would be located to do the search feature, i can be on page 1 of my pets food eaten and search for 'Lime Gummy Xotl' it would not work. A search button at the top of the page that would register the whole feature, like they have for Shops, would be nice.

Yes a text checklist would be nice. :) I use the one on Subetalodge, but you have to enter each item each time you feed it. They have a mass add feature, but I'm not sure how that is going to work with the new food format.

as a gamer who has to use add-ons for 'normal' play, I dislike having to go Off-site to use helpful tools that should already be in use On-site.

Subetalodge is working on a mass add feature that adds everything out of your public collections from just the url. I haven't tested it yet so I'm not sure if it works, but that's an easy way to add your food collections.

Also I'm not totally sure if staff has directly said it anywhere but I don't think we'll be getting any sort of checklists onsite since they're already available on Subetalodge.

Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I had asked Georgie, when the new setup was implemented, how that was going to work with them, but she wasn't sure. As to the list, I'm actually think more of just the option of text list that you could go to, to update Foods Eaten. It seems like it would take some strain off the servers if it wasn't having to load all the images.

I personally use account search because of how hard the food eaten page is to navigate and how long it takes to load.
