I think it would be nice to have online/offline/busy/etc buttons in the "Friends Online" category (in the dashboard), and also in user profiles (: It would be an easy way to know if the user will accept your trade for example, or is busy, or don't want to be bothered.

I think that would be nice. I would like to have something on my profile saying when I'm online but the Basic User Info is more information than I want (the name and last seen).

Well for now it's easy to see if someone is online and a friend. If you have the "Friends Online" widget it shows you who is on at the moment. If you are wanting to do a trade, it would say if they are online or not on the trade lot itself.

I love the idea of a busy now button.

A lot of the time I am on mobile and trying to do anything other than really basic stuff is a challenge. I would hate peiple to think I was deliberately ignoring them.

I know seeing if they're online/offline can be easily done in some cases, a busy button would be SUPER helpful. Another reason for including the online/offline button is to go offline where people can't see your online in trades and you can remain 100% hidden if you want.

This! I also use mobile a lot and that's why I typically have my online status as hidden. If there was some sort of indicator we could easily toggle (maybe a mobile indicator? but I don't think that's possible / would be harder to get / not as efficient for everyone else) it would be very helpful.

I would love a feature like this. There is one on Skype which I find very useful at times. I hate telling friends "I don't have time right now" when I'm on for a short period and have little time to get through something like quests, games, etc. We have Stealth Mode under Options on the User Dashboard, so maybe that could be expanded to give us more options for our status.

oh i would love this. i get on the site from my phone to train/do BQs to kill time, but for some reason i have a difficulty posting to forums and replying to most comments, so i dont like looking like i'm ignoring someone.

i can easily see just a very small colored dot next to everyone's names to indicate online/away/busy, ala skype.

I think I already saw this some time ago, and an admin answered it's not be possible (I really can't remember why). But I'm ok with only the friends online widget...

I really would like it if when I had myself marked hidden I was hidden everywhere including trades. Hate that even if I am hidden you can see I'm online from any trades I might have up. And I love the idea of being able to mark busy. As said great for people who come on from a phone and can do less on site or if you're really just focusing on one thing you want to get done and probably won't respond to someone right away.

so that could be the reason... Maybe they already tested it and for some reason (maybe a waste of server usage? Or some slow down on the scrip loading, idk)

Personally I don't really see the point in this. Isn't that what the status thingie is for? Or is that impossible to change on mobile? I only use a PC so I'm really not familiar with the challenges of other devices.
