We've set it so that the Coin Machines distributes the stat increase to your active pet (unlike any one of your pets, as it was previously programmed to do). The update came from a user suggestion thread that suggested we flip it to active pet like we recently did with the scratchcards :)

You can buy special coins in user shops or find them randomly throughout the site via a random event.
