So I'm trying to use the Add Card option in the Cash Shop, but have run into a bit of a carfunkel. When I add my email to the email section, I instantly get a new page that says "Enter verification code to use the payment info you stored with Stripe." And tells me a text has been sent to a number ending in 5130 with six empty blocks for me to put the code.

Here's where the problem arises. Now I have never seen this number and I am not registered on Stripe with that email. So I worry about this verification code being sent to some random person.

So my main questions would be: What's the issue, should I be concerned? Is there a way for me to at least change this phone number to mine so I can get the code and attempt to log in? Do I need to contact Stripe or an Admin to find out if the verification code can be used by someone against me? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I have screen shot and can show that, if absolutely needed. :)

Thanks for the good times Subeta!

I would file a ticket. I've readded my card to stripe multiple times and I'm pretty sure I never even needed to put in a verification code :x

Thank you for the quick reply and helpful advice. :) A ticket probably would be the best option, since it only seems to be happening to that email, which is my main email. =/ It will let me add the rest of my payment info with my other emails, but I haven't actually added a card yet. I think I'll see how this plays out first.

If it does that, it means that your card has been added to stripe elsewhere (do you share this card with your partner / parents / dog?) and the "save for later" box was checked, which means stripe will send a 'verification code' to that number so that you dont' have to put in all of the details again.

No, it's my own personal card and relatively new as well. I've had it less than a year. And the only time I've ever used Stripe is through Subeta. I even went to the Stripe website and used the "forgot password" option for that site and it told me it didn't have my email on file.

Now I did have my old card, which is through the same bank, saved on here for awhile. I removed it a few weeks ago because it had expired. So there is a possibility that I could have checked the "save for later" box with the old card. But this is my first attempt to use the Add Card option for the new card I have now. Though I have been able to make purchases with it through Paypal.

Thanks for the good times Subeta!
