I just want to double check on foreign names with accents. I don't think I can give my pet a name that includes an accent, for example; í or ø, correct? I would just have to figure out the variant, if there is one, without the accents.

Foreign names are fine. Several of my pet names are foreign however, you would not be able to place the accent in the name as special symbols are not allowed in names.

If you see users with special symbol names it was likely before it was done away with as at one point they were however, they interfered with the code.
