Despite the age of my account, I'm essentially brand new here after having started about oh, let's say 8 hours ago. I stayed up late to max out all of my quests but when I try to do Carl's quests I get the following message:

Oh No! Oh, no! Apparently you haven't quite worked out how to get to the Omen Islands yet! I suppose you probably need to put together an unknown map!

You need to put together the Uncharted Land Map.

I think you need to go here to put it together, once you have all pieces. (found what should be the correct link now)

Oh it looks expensive! Is it worth putting it together? Do I get to unlock anything other than the quests I referred to above?

It is sort of expensive. But the pieces have been showing up a lot more lately, (you can get them from random events), so the prices have dropped a lot.

You don't get a whole lot from it. There's a vending machine, merana's quests from where you can get hydrus pets and port plunder, which mainly has carl's quests and a shop.

No I didn't.

The Gold Acount Medal is most likely from an achievement prize for having an account that is one year old.

Hehe. If it's from the achievement you should (eventually, sidebar events sometimes lag a bit) have an event in the sidebar saying that you got it. It's called 'First Year' or something like that. ^^

Haha. I used to play on there, and then they were over run by newbs. And this was years ago before Viacom bought them out and they actually were run by people instead of a company.

People here are a lot friendlier. Its like a small community of do gooders. :)

The people who do the running of the website haven't actually changed. They're just awful.

well this was like... ten years ago before everything went down hill. They sold the rights to someone else, and things used to run a lot differently. Before the premium items and cash. There were no accessories for your pets, just costumes. It was way different.

BUT HERE! We have the most amazing staff, and items, and wardrobe and the pets are SO amazingly perfect. I love it here, Ive been on Subeta before they changed the site from .org to .net. haha. Im old school. <3

I didn't even know Subeta changed from .org to .net- I wonder what prompted that change. heh.
