HERE is my review of the first season of The Leftovers.

HERE is my review of the first (and probably only) season of Extant.

The Leftovers This show is actually more than a little difficult for me to get to watch due to it being on HBO and me not having the channel. I was able to watch the Season Finale while away in Cali since family there does have HBO.

I just like how it makes you think. There is usually a hidden layer to things.

Basically what happens is that 1-2% of the world's population disappears. The show doesn't focus on why the people disappeared and it is instead a character study. I can't really explain why if you haven't watched it, but I really hope we don't find out what happens. It's almost like finding out the Doctor's name on Doctor Who: it'd be nice to find out, but at the same time you don't want to know.

Extant I didn't know if I wanted to watch this or not and so marathoned the first three episodes in a day or two.

Halle Berry does a great job in her role. I know a lot of people were annoyed with her saying "my baby" about the alien fetus inside of her, but I didn't mind.

I really hope there's a second season just so that Ethan will go bad and start to take over the world. But, then again, I'm biased for killer robotsXD

The finale left it open for a second season, while still managing to answer important questions.

So anyone here wanting a second season for this show :)
