I'm interested in mythical animals. According to Wikipedia： “In Inuit mythology, Akhlut is an orca spirit that takes the form of a gigantic wolf or a wolf-orca hybrid when on land.It is a vicious, dangerous beast that ventured onto land in order to hunt humans and other animals.” I think it might be cool to have a pet based on akhlut.

I really love that first design. I hadn't heard of the Akhlut until last week when I read the description of an MC book, so this creature is brand new and exciting for me. :P

We do have whale-like tutanis though, and plenty of wolf-like species, so I'm not sure this is very likely to happen ("just get an overlay," etc.)

I know it's not the same, but a coliseum challenger might be cool. At least then it would be somewhere on-site.

I was thinking of it as BC challenger as well! I mean, I don't know about anyone else but a killer whalewolf sounds terrifying to me.

It would also be amazing as an actual species, but due to overlays and whatnot I have a feeling there'd be a better chance of getting it as a BC thing.

This would make an awesome experiment pet, or as said, a challenger!

2. if people are worried about the redudancy of having the tutani and another whale-like pet, maybe it could be changed to be more shark-like, while keeping the orca markings? or even whale-shark-terrestrial mammal hybrid.

Not sure how this would work as a pet sadly, we already have a whale and basically two wolf pets, but it would make for a fantastic challenger for sure.

That's a lovely beast, I'd be all for it being used for something on-site :) Though if it becomes an experiment not giving it horribly garish colors would be preferred.

that thing looks wicked and is different enough from any other pet onsite that i think it's definitely worth making, i'd love to see how it's changed to be subeta-species-specific

i once had a shark character on here, he was a tutani and it was... bleh. Tutani is too cute and happy and not what i'm looking for.
