Buff: plus one quest at wizard. Site lag, because Subeta...not even 5 minutes, BANG! buff gone! WTF?! Why give it in the first place? If it is ONLY for one quest, why does it matter that it stays for 30 minutes, so you can also cover the lag. Yours...

Also you don't get notification that you got a buff. I apparently got a raffle ticket buff during the anniversary, but I only knew because I got an event saying it had expired. I NEVER knew I had one because I had the "Subeta: Jessica" box collapsed (so yeah it's sort of my fault too) and therefore didn't see the buff image...

You should still get a notification you got a buff, and buffs shouldn't be two minutes. especially for quests

I agree to getting a notification, and also to lengthening the quest buff timer. I've heard it's so short because it's meant to be a little bonus once your other quests are done (so you're not supposed to be able to do all 11/16 quests within the timer), but that's not always enough time even if your regular 10/15 are done. I think it should be 10-15 minutes. It's plenty long enough to finish your quest even with lag, even if the site goes down for a few minutes. But short enough that not everyone will be able to squeeze in all their quests that they haven't done yet.

Yeah I got this today for the wizard but hadn't done any of my quests and I think I got 3 or 4 done before it expired. It just seems pointless, what's a permanent extra quest for the day going to do? As long as it doesn't go out that often just make the buff last the day.

I agree with making it last at least a bit more, if a day is too much then maybe 15-30 minutes? So you don't have to rush like crazy / get horribly stressed with the lag if you haven't done your quests for the day x:

Some sort of extra notification would be nice too, if you miss the RE the only alert you'll get is when it expires... maybe an alert when half of the time has passed? Like "don't forget to help the wizard!", supposing it wouldn't be too much trouble to code x:

Also pls extend it to poor Pete n_n

Great idea with the alert, and of course, the time extension.

It's way too short time period. I got the buff on quest day during the birthday celebration, and thus got 2 extra. I had to rush 22 quests in 5 minutes! I barely managed to finish them before the buff ran out.

AND TO PREVENT FURTHER WHINING: I happened to notice the buff the right moment (I'm not even entirely sure had I already completed a couple quests before the RE, and that's why I finished the extras as well. BUT it was by no means reasonable. I was LITERALLY rushing: buying over-prized items even to finish on time.) End of story.

I got the Wizard buff twice before I even had completed one of his quests and even though I currently only have 10 quests per day to do the lags and error pages aren't making things easy. An increase in time for the buff would be nice, 15-20 minutes sound good in my opinion.

Even having it at 10 minutes would be helpful :o

Yeah I don't know if it's just bad luck, but I tend to get the buff on the first or second quest. No matter how fast you are, there's no way you'll get the extra quest due to the timing.

So... you finished your quests on top of the bonus quests in the buff time (during a busy time, no less)? I don't think that helps with the whole add more time debate lol

Correct me now before I get into details, the buff comes via a RE, right? Like, the wizard needs your help [link to wizard]

Anyways, of course a higher buff timer would be awesome but I haven't had any issues completing my bonus quests thus far. And I don't really see this as a WE MUST HAVE IT kinda thing, not for a single bonus quest. I view it more as a 'get it while you can if you don't no big deal'.

If it does get upped though, cool, no complaints. No complaints either way for me at least. I'm on the fence about the alerts as well. If I played the site differently (not opening 1000000 tabs that are easily closed without looking at them, especially during questing) an alert wouldn't be necessary. Pretty much same goes for any other timed RE.

I guess in my mind, to counter the OP, if it's one (bonus) quest, why does it matter if you miss it?

I don't understand why it needs to be on any sort of timer to begin with. When you receive the extra quest, it should just automatically change. Instead of 0/10, it should show 0/11. That way that extra quest is there for the reminder of the day, and you can use it by doing your quests, or not.

I agree with ! But if there has to be a timer, at least give like half an hour minimum. I got a buff the other day and it was NOT enough time for me to finish all of my quests and use the buff, so it was basically pointless. I was a bit sad.

I've gotten the quest buff three times that I know of, and twice I've ran out of time before I could finish all my quests. I think it should be at LEAST ten minutes, but having it last all day like said isn't a bad idea either. Even if users could potentially stack their bonus quests, the event is rare enough that it won't do much harm.

I don't understand why there needs to be a timer, personally. Why not have have it effective for the rest of the day? I usually only do my quests in big batches, so it's weird for me to rush to do a quick extra quest. :/

I've only gotten one that I know of and hadn't done any quests yet. I didn't even get a chance to use it. I guess the argument I have is, why give them at all if you're not going to make it doable for those that haven't done quests yet? I mean what's the point. If it's only for those that have finished quests it should be coded so that only users who have finished them can get them. I do see the plus side of don't set a timer on it. It's not like you've even started the quest and once you do you still only have the 30 minutes like usual. I know that if there's not timer it's not really a buff and more or less a bonus at that point though. So maybe they can just recode for those that have already done them.

I once again missed the whole random event. It's nice to see the "Your extra quest buff has ran out." event when you didn't even know you had one in the first place!

I got the Wizard buff I think last night, and got two events. One was the 'wizard needs help' and directly below it was a buff notification event. My issue was that I hadn't done any of the Wizard quests yet. I don't think people who haven't completed the quests should get the extra.

If the lag wasn't as bad as it has been for the last month or so, I really wouldn't mind the timer that's on it. It's rather easy to complete a wizard quest within a minute or two if you have a reasonable connection (I do it on my phone sometimes). But with current lag, it's a matter of luck.

I really hate this new quest buff system, it's awful! Having 5 minutes to complete an extra quest is not enough especially when you haven't completed the rest of that quest for the day. It's not helpful or even exciting, it's infuriating because I know that even if I get an "extra quest" for the day I will never be able to complete it. Having half an hour would be much better than 5 minutes.
