I've received perfume in the mail.so I I thought it was safe to ship.post office says no perfume can't be shipped..I've gotten perfume in the mail..so if it's not safe to ship why is amazon and ebay sellers using usps to ship it?

Yeah, that's a rule they've always had. Don't know why/how sellers get around it...

I found out you CAN ship perfume through usps. Its on there official site.It just can't go through the air.My local usps store don't know what they talking about.Usps official site says it can be shipped but not internationally.I just wanted to ship some to someone else who is in the U.S.A.

you can ship it ground only BUT you can't tell them its purfume. At certain altitudes when things are being flown out sizes of bottles will implode. hence why you can't take anything on a plane over a certain size. I'm assuming its for eBay since your other post was about ebay but yea, you can't ship fragrance as "perfume" or "liquid". You just have to not say anything and ship it as ground as fragile. They used to not worry about it but now they are getting more and more stupid about things, I had to unpackage a toy COMPLETELY once because it had batteries in it. I told the lady it was stupid I had to unwrap and open up a brand new toy that was a present for my niece because the PO didn't want my stinklin' lil triple A batteries to be shipped.
