Events that happen every month for a day or two, like the coda caves and careaper, really should be in the news section on the day(s) that they happen. It could even be put under the "Check out" section on the news page with a link. I'm sure that newbies have no clue that the caves are only open on those days. And to be honest, without the ping from the group I'm in I'd probably forget too.

And that's another reason to have these automatically posted to the news every month- at least two less ping groups that I'd need to be in.

I really like the idea of sticking these monthly events in the "Check out" section. Expecting users to remember them has always seemed a little odd to me.

I agree. When Coda Caves is ongoing I can set the alert, but that obviously doesn't help me the next month. I hadn't even heard of Careaper, but I don't battle.

This would be a nice step forward to making Subeta more userfriendly/newbie friendly. because the site still relies too much on the assumption that you know stuff, remember everything and that you understand things without explanation.

I'm pro this suggestion, certainly the code caves, i mean you can make a pet colour two days a month, sucks to forget about it or to just not know about it.

The staff has wondered before how to make things more easy for newer players to make sure they stick around, this suggestion would be a wonderful addition :)
