One of my friends is coming over on friday, and wants to do Automatic Writing, she says it allows you to ask your gaurdian angel questions and get answers. IS this true, have any of you tried it? I googled it and am a little unsure.

Personally I think it is a bunch of BS. Do I believe in the spiritual world? Yes. Do I believe people shouldn't mess with that shit? Yes.

That would be a big 'hell no' from me.

I would be careful. I don't know how much of the spiritual things I believe in, but I do know that it can be unsafe to summon any unknown entity. How would you know for sure it's a guardian angel you get to talk to, and not someone posing as one?

I would err on the side of caution with that type of thing. Spirits who mean you harm are just as likely to come through in those situations, and they are often deceptive by nature. Best case scenario you try it, don't connect to anything, and walk away feeling like the whole thing is BS. If your goal is to contact a guardian angel, I assume you believe in some sort of God, too... So if you're going to do it, I would say pray for protection and pray that anything that comes through to you be from God. From what I've heard, guardian angels aren't exactly sweet and friendly, either -- they're essentially warriors who spend their time fighting off other entities for you and they can be gruff as a result. If that's really who you're trying to communicate with, instead of trying to receive messages from your already very busy guardian, perhaps you should send some expressing your gratitude.

Your friend should be cautious, too. Automatic writing goes in the same category as ouija boards when it comes to just not knowing what's coming through and only knowing that you left the door open.

That's totally unreal. I have a friend who does that (he's a Shaman) and I do believe his stuff is real important but the angels cards? I don't even truly believe in angels so I am not believe in that. He does temazcallis very frequently and that's super different and hoping to go to one of those soon <3

Hey hon! I would definitely decline, and also ask her not to do it at your home. Those activities can attract evil entities, not even joking. Automatic writing is similar to the use of Ouija boards in opening that line of communication. I don't think anything pure or good can be contacted like that.
