I went to Costco the other day and bought a DVD set with a 100 horror movies from the past. The majority is in black and white, although it's kind of nice to take a step back into what was considered "creepy" back then. And to have a 100 movies for such little price? It was a pretty sweet deal.

One of my favorite horror classics has got to be Nosferatu with Max Schreck, super creepy!

I used to buy sets like that all the time! My hs best friend and I would trade our collections back and forth all the time. Sadly when my parents had to move for work, anything still at their house was sold off, but I love what I was able to hold onto. I even bought a new (only like 5 movies or something though) one, including one with Denise Crosby (Star Trek Next Generation star)! I think I got it for a buck or two at Half Price Books. Glad you're enjoying your 100 horror classics!

I am sure there will be a lot awesome movies in the box, compared to new horror movies the older ones definitely had more charm and atmosphere. :D

, I actually have that movie in my box set, can't wait to watch it!

, thanks, even though some of your films were sold off, I'm glad you got to keep the few. I't's never too late to start re-collecting.

, what kind of movies were in your box set?

^Also, I agree that the older ones have more of a charm to them.^
