Is there any limit to the amount of items we can stock in our shops? I assumed the ability to have multiple shops was so that one would overflow and you could fill another...or something like that. Is that true, and I just haven't gotten to the upper limit yet, or is something different going on?

Seemingly not. I currently have over twenty thousand items in my shop, and I'm certain others have a lot more. I think some people just like to have different shops to better divide up different types or rarities of items.

Makes sense. I'm used to having to upgrade my shop on Some Other Virtual Pet Game, so I just sort of assumed I'd have to here as well.

Shop limits are in store for the future. I don't have an ETA but I've seen Keith say he intends to limit shop stock.

Really? I can see why, but it's still annoying. Are large shops that much worse than multiple shops? Hopefully they bring in moving items between shops before then (or at least at the same time).

I have the shop that's the seventh largest, and it's got half-a-million items in it. And yes, it does run slow and when I do pricings add/subtract it can take awhile and sometimes crash Subeta for me. Because my shop is so big, nearly everyone ends up visiting me, so it isn't just personal it affects site-wide.
