Just curious if there's anyone out there who's still a fan and, if so, what your reactions/opinions are on the most recent rumors about the show coming back. :D

Huge fan here. I find every single episode incredibly pleasing, both visually and story-vise. I love David Lynch's brain. I've seen everything he's done and I will watch this new prequel/sequel/??? thing that might happen. I doubt I'll enjoy it as much as Twin Peaks though. I was really young when I first watched it. I absolutely loved it. It fired my imagination & defined my taste in fiction. Nothing can compare with that.

ME ME ME I'm super excited for it! 8D I heard it's a sequel, so it will be set 25 years after, which is perfect timing given what Laura says lol. PERFECT COINCIDENCE or not?.

Who are you guys hoping to see? I heard Kyle MacLachlan will be back, which begs the question of what do you want to have seen done to Cooper? to Twin Peaks as a town? Do you guys want Laura back in any way? How about Bob and the other inhabitants of the Black Lodge / Red Room?

I've only just finished the first season, so I have a long way to go, but I'm absolutely in love with the show. Where I live, they're actually doing a huge 25 year anniversary exhibit at one of our museums next Friday, which is what prompted me to watch it. I definitely don't regret the decision, because WOW.

omg that's so cool! 8D 25 years is also a big thing, because of what someone says to someone else later in the series (it was the movie, so definitely give the movie a watch after you get through season two). The only problem is I read David Lynch is not going to be involved due to issues with Showtime. Something about the budget. Which really sucks, because it was his baby, so idk if the show's going to go on or not. If it does, it will feel weird without his input. ;l

Oh gosh, I was offline so long I didn't notice this had posts! Yes, I am SUPER excited about the "season 3" thing. I heard they were "in talks" with Lynch about the budget, which I hope Showtime makes the right decision here... So fingers crossed, I guess! Either way, I will never stop loving the original show. I'm so glad this got some replies. c:

Ah, they're still in talks with him? It's going to be a real pity if he's not involved with season 3. Unfathomable. :c
