Hi everyone! n_n My name's Laura; I saw this site mentioned on my tumblr multiple times so I thought I'd come here and see what all the fuss was about! Loving the art so far.
Anyhoo, I'm not feeling all too productive at the moment and I need to get some examples on the go for my tumblr commission page. So if you want drawn for free, here's your chance. :D I'll be taking a couple of human avvies, and a couple of pets. Post your references for me below and I'll let you know if you've been picked.

Does your pet have any defining features other than just being a simple border collie? ^^

If you feel up to it, a thing of OCs for you to browse through or something since not everyone likes to do that.
You can make him wear a pink dog collar with a silver domino-shaped dog tag if that's possible. Apart from that he's just a simple border collie...but a cheerful and optimistic one. Cheerful I don't mean in a goofy way though, more like "gracefully cheerful" if that makes sense, just like the Angelic Telenine he is. :)

❤ I am forever of the quest for art of Jenn and Johan. I love images of them together of course, but I'm also looking for some individual pieces for the profiles. Here's a ref for him (ignore the pink sticker, haha), and here's one for her.
There's also Jeremiah. He's a pastor. He's got a big beard, a sleeve of tattoos (something like this and with this on his wrist), and a huge heart for God. I'd love to see something kinda like this but holding a bible like he's reading it or preaching from it. :)
I have nothing for poor Remiel yet. My ref's aren't very good, but in general he's an Angel of the Lord (the angel in charge of protecting the links between heaven and earth). I'd like him to go in the direction of biblical angel, so a warrior. He has six wings and a large staff. His story isn't complete but it gives a good idea of his personality. I imagine him with long dark hair, but it's really open to creative license.
I also have Alex, the backpacker. I don't know if you've ever read/seen "Into the Wild" but that's where his character really comes from to me. He's in his 20's-30's in images (his story begins in his teens if you read it). He lives up in Alaska and mushes dogs (hence the huskies on his profile) and he's a huge hiker.
Or you could draw Abe Lincoln for me :)
Animals: I would really love if you could draw Disney for me! He's a magical creature that's loosely based on a gennet (another ref). He has a much fluffier tail and his colors are this pallet (his body is the lighter blue and peach and his spots are the other colors). He has two small wings on his back and he of course would be wearing a Mickey Mouse ear headband :)
My first ever pet was Kamots (Reference) He and his mate Chemukh (Reference) are based of the alpha pair of wolves from the Sawtooth Mountain Pack. They're a big inspiration for me and I always love any work of them.
Juneau and Tonks are my real life pups. (Juneau's profile here) and I love art of them!
Chewwie is a little ferret obsessed with numerous book, movie, and t.v. series (Harry Potter, Star Wars, Supernatural, Sherlock, Hunger Games) so he can be really fun to draw because you can be silly and include lots of references to different things (ex: holding a stuffed lightsaber or wearing fake angel wings and writing ennochian).
Attenborough is the guardian of nature. His story is very pro-planet. His character actually looks the same as the pet, but I'm really hoping to get a better pose for him (maybe something where he's sitting amongst animals and flowers and smiling, or something where he's napping wrapped around a globe).
And then there's little Timothie the stuffed horse. He looks very similar to his image as well, except that he's very squishy and has a tan mane/tail. His saddle is green with a red center (he was a Christmas present).

Hiya, and welcome to Subeta! I have a couple of pets that already have set designs, and one of them is Ekks. He's a Spectrum Feli, like so:
However, rather than being a... well, spectrum of colors, Ekks is a range of blues. I'm not entirely sure what colors specifically, but I'm thinking his main fur color is a medium sort of blue and all of the stripes are varying shades of blue on the same spectrum, ranging from much paler/lighter to much darker. His wings/horns/etc. would all probably be white or a very pale blue, and his eyes are pink. Most of the coloration is very open to artistic interpretation and the like, of course, and if you're so inclined, you could also play around with different striped markings. c: He's also probably a lot scrawnier than the Feli actually is; in every incarnation, Ekks is the tiniest, scrawniest little thing ever.
Character-wise, Ekks is an idealistic optimist to a fault. He'll see the good in anybody even if it means ignoring their blatant flaws, and he often winds up putting his trust in the wrong types of people as a result. He works so hard at helping other people and creatures (he's actually in charge of an abandoned minion shelter in the Subeta universe) that he compromises himself in the process, often winding up very strained or tired.
