I was wondering why it changed to where we can't edit the CSS on our profiles now in the user dashboard. I have pet buttons that I put in the code and now this makes it 10x harder when I have to edit it><

Just wondering if there is an easier way to tweak user profiles:)

I really hope this is just a mistake and they forgot to add it, since editing profiles from the actual profile is a pain. Actually, I can't even find the edit button on my profile, so it's impossible for me to edit my profile now. I can't be the only one with this problem.

Yeah this NEEDS to be put back. It was the only way for me to edit my profile code. STAFF PLEASE PUT THE EDIT PROFILE OPTION BACK IN USER INFO!!

I'm seriously hoping this is returned at some point somewhere and we aren't just stuck with editing it via the profile. I didn't edit my profile on the actual profile page itself, but from the dashboard. It was nice and easy and simple there for me. I don't know anything about editing it from the profile page. It's very confusing for me.

We could edit our profiles via user dashboard?!?! T___T Totally missed that. And here I was trying to make sure the edit button was clickable on the edit profile page or if it wasn't ... going back and resetting everything times too many times to count. |D

This would be very useful. It's hard to make the edit button visible if you're working with a large image which is ... typical for custom profiles.

This is driving me crazy, as my profile was designed in a way that it can only be edited through the Preferences section. I have to remove the coding there in order to access anything on the main profile page, because images and hover placements disrupt how it functions in the profile view. I literally cannot touch anything now. 8(

Sorry to bother you, but is there any chance the Profile editing can be added back where it was in the Preferences section? A lot of layouts don't support the hovering edit-from-profile system. q__q

I'm not bothered by this change. I didn't even know you could change profile from somewhere other than the profile anyway.

It's not gone, it's right under "User Dashboard" in the "personal" drop down.

beat me to it. Also, my profile - the art and the coding both - were a gift, and not of my own design, so I lack the coding finesse to redo it to suit this system. I imagine many other users who commissioned complex, expensive layouts are having the same frustrations we are. I've seen tons of shops that flat-out say that the main coding must be entered from the Prefs page and the additional hovering bits can be done from the front.

I literally can't even access the main block of code from the profile standpoint, because the editing system is stupid and made of weirdly-placed hovering buttons and boxes that barely function even on minimal layouts, much less the more complex ones. No other website I've played does profile editing in this way. |D Probably because it doesn't work very well. And as far as I can tell, this isn't a browser issue, as I have played Subeta in both Chrome and Firefox (and I can tell you right now that IE is not Subeta's ideal engine).

This is where profile editing originally was - you can see it in the URL. It even still says "submit your profile" but everything other than the email and gender have been removed.

Still no word on this?? Ugh I really hope they put it back. I want to be able to update my profile!

Wrong one. The one we are talking about is the one that used to be under Basic Info in the user prefs. It was similar to how the edit pet profile page is. A lot of users are unable to use the "Edit Profile" because of coding.

I never knew there was a dashboard feature either. Honestly, I've coded every single profile I've made to have the edit box moved to a corner so it was always visible/accessible. Good thing I still do that XD

I made a ticket about this about a week ago and have gotten responses that it's being "looked into", but no real official news yet. Pretty frustrated :(
